The top drive comprises a gear unit, a main spindle, and an active pressure generating device. The gear unit comprises a gear housing, an axial main bearing, and an axial auxiliary bearing. The axial main bearing comprises an upper main bearing part with rotates relative to the lower main bearing part. The lower main bearing part contacts the gear housing. The axial auxiliary bearing comprises an upper auxiliary bearing part which rotates relative to the lower auxiliary bearing part and contacts the gear housing. The main spindle rotates within the gear unit and contacts the upper main bearing part. The active pressure generating device is arranged between the upper auxiliary bearing part and the gear housing, the lower auxiliary bearing part and the main spindle, the lower main bearing part and the gear housing, and/or the upper main bearing part and the main spindle.

Top drive for a drill string

A drawworks for a drilling device for lowering and hoisting a load such as a drill string or parts thereof includes a frame comprising a first bearing point, a second bearing point, and a third bearing point, a winding drum, and a first bearing device connected to the frame for the winding drum. The first bearing device is arranged so that a center of respective bearing forces is located at each of the first bearing point, at the second bearing point, and at the third bearing point.

Drawworks

A hoist includes a cable configured to lower and to raise a load, and a drum arranged to be rotatably seated about an axis of rotation and configured to wind up and to unwind the cable. The drum comprises a flanged wheel which comprises a securing device configured to secure the cable. The securing device comprises a cable-accommodating block comprising an abutment surface, and a cable clamp. The cable-accommodating block is affixed to the flanged wheel in a direction of tension of the cable and is configured to have the cable be passed there-through. The cable clamp comprises a counterpart abutment surface. The cable clamp is configured to be affixed to the cable. The abutment surface of the cable-accommodating block is configured to be contacted with the counterpart abutment surface of the cable clamp under an effect of a tensile force.

Hoist

A pump system configured to deliver drilling fluid in at least one of a driving well and a drilling well includes a pump unit, a rotary drive device configured to drive the pump unit, and a gearbox comprising a driving gear and an driven gear. The rotary drive device is operatively connected to the pump unit by the gearbox.

Pump system

A pumping system for pumping drilling fluid during the driving or sinking of bore holes includes a pump unit, a rotary drive unit configured to drive the pump unit, a gearbox that includes a driving gear and a driven gear, and a pump shaft drive. The rotary drive unit is operatively connected with the pump unit via the gearbox, and the driven gear of the gearbox is nonrotatably connected with the pump shaft drive.

Pumping system

In the drawworks for lowering and withdrawing a load, in particular a drilling or a drilling plugging device, in particular for use on floating drilling platforms, which drawworks has at least one brake arrangement for braking and holding the load, an emergency brake device is provided for producing an additional braking force.
