A timepiece includes a movement and a current-time ringing mechanism that includes: an hour cam () for providing information on the hour of the current time to an hour sampler, quarter cam () for providing information on the quarters of the current time to a quarter sampler, a minute cam () for providing information on the minutes of the current time to a minute sampler, wherein the cams are adapted to be driven by the movement, the quarter cam () and the minute cam () being pivotally mounted and being free relative to each other, and the minute cam () including a snail including a single row of 60/N stages and being adapted to be driven by the movement at N revolutions per hour.

Timepiece with ringing mechanism

A movement for a timepiece having a retrograde display member displaying at least one time division, includes a going train, elements for driving the display member including a wheel unit driven by the going train and carrying a first cam sharing the same axis of rotation. The movement also includes a rocker supporting a probe held against the edge of the first cam by deformable elastic elements undergoing a deformation of variable amplitude. This results in the application of a corresponding force on the rocker in proportion to the distance between the probe and the axis of rotation of the first cam. The movement also includes drive members to connect the rocker to a retrograde display member. A force-regulating device is interposed between the elastic elements and the rocker.

A ringing mechanism includes: a power source (), a speed regulator (), a ringing device, and a gear () connecting the power source () to the regulator () on the one hand and to the device on the other hand. The mechanism further includes a speed adjustor () and control element interacting with the speed adjustor () in order to change the driving speed of the ringing device.

Hour indicating ringing mechanism

An oscillating weight for an automatic watch is arranged to carry a bearing defining an axis of rotation (A&#x2014;A) and is intended to be mounted on the frame of the watch. The mass member of the weight has a center of gravity (G) shifted with respect to the axis of rotation. In this weight, this mass member includes two parts that can be moved one () in relation to the other (), and arranged such that their relative movement causes a radial movement of the center of gravity (G) of the mass member.
