A process for the hydroconversion of heavy oil products includes the following steps where heavy oil products and hydrogen are supplied to a slurry hydroconversion section having a molybdenum-based catalyst: separating the reaction effluent into a vapour phase and a slurry phase; and sending the slurry phase to a separation section having the function of separating the Vacuum Gas Oil, Heavy Vacuum Gas Oil, Light Vacuum Gas Oil, and Atmospheric Gas Oil fractions, from a stream of heavy organic products which contains asphaltenes, unconverted feed, catalyst, and solid formed during the hydroconversion reaction. This stream is partly sent to the reaction section and partly forms a purge stream, which is heated and made fluid between 185&#xb0; C.-220&#xb0; C., and subjected to a static settling unit up to at least 100&#xb0; C. From the settling unit two new products, clarified component and cake, are obtained. The clarified component is recycled to the hydroconversion reaction section.

Process for the hydroconversion of heavy oil products with recycling

System and corresponding process for the hydroconversion of heavy oils essentially comprising a reactor, a liquid-vapor separator and a section for stripping conversion products outside the reactor comprising an inlet conduit for the stripping gases located at a point on the conduit providing a connection between the head of the reactor and the liquid-vapor separator inclined, at least from the point of entry, upwards with a gradient of between 2% and 20%, preferably between 3% and 12%, with respect to a horizontal plane. The inlet conduit for the stripping gases is inclined with respect to the axis of the conduit providing a connection between the reactor head and the liquid-vapor separator through an angle of between 20&#xb0; and 65&#xb0;, more preferably between 30&#xb0; and 60&#xb0;, even more preferably between 40&#xb0; and 50&#xb0;. The stripping gas delivered to the connection conduit between the head of the reactor and the separator flows in a downward direction.

System and process for increasing heavy oils conversion capacity

Process for the production of hydrogen and the co-production of carbon dioxide in separate streams comprising the following operations: feeding of a solid to a first reaction zone (R) in which a liquid or gaseous hydrocarbon, preferably natural gas or methane, is also fed, which reacts with the solid fed at its maximum oxidation degree (over-oxidized form), leading to the formation of the combustion products carbon dioxide and water and the solid at its minimum oxidation degree (reduced form); feeding of the solid in reduced form to a second reaction zone (R) into which water is also fed, which reacts with the reduced form of the solid, producing hydrogen, steam and the solid at an intermediate oxidation degree (oxidized form); feeding of the solid in oxidized form to a third reaction zone (R) into which air is also fed, obtaining, from the further oxidation of the solid, heat and the solid in over-oxidized form to be recycled to the first reaction zone (R), wherein the solid contains at least one element selected from elements which, in addition to the metallic state, have at least three different oxidation states and are therefore capable of producing two redox pairs, in order of the oxidation state, characterized in that in the first reaction zone (R) the solid in over-oxidized form and the liquid or gaseous hydrocarbon are fed in countercurrent.
