The present invention refers to a blast-resistant bulletproof window and a corresponding apparatus, in particular for use in a motor vehicle, which comprises a ballistic block having a peripheral edge and a plurality of panes of glass, ceramic or plastic material bonded to each other over their surfaces in a layered composite, and interposed bonding interlayers plastic material or adhesive, wherein at least one edge groove with particularly rectangular cross section is provided on and along at least a part of the peripheral edge, and an edge recess is provided on an inside surface of the ballistic block or window on and along at least a part of the peripheral edge of the window.

Blast-resistant bulletproof window and associated apparatus

The present invention relates to a glass pane construction, particularly bullet proof glass pane, to be used in a motor vehicle, having several transparent panes and layers made of glass, ceramic or synthetic material, which are connected in a layered manner connected to each other in a laminate, electrical controllable or switchable electrochromic layer means for electrical controlling or switching of the light transparency of the glass pane construction or of the bullet proof pane, wherein a laminar transparent UV filtering layer means for filtering of striking ultraviolet (UV) radiation is provided so that none or only a part of the UV radiation passes to the electrochromic layer means.

The present invention refers to a bullet- and blast-resistant window, in particular for use in a motor vehicle, which comprises a ballistic block having a peripheral face and a plurality of panes of glass, ceramic or plastic material bonded to each other over their surfaces in a layered composite, and interposed bonding interlayers of plastic material or adhesive, wherein an edge groove having slopes at least partly inclined for engagement with a part of the vehicle body and extending on and along at least a part of the peripheral edge of the window.

The present invention refers to a bulletproof window, in particular for use as a window of a motor vehicle or car, comprising at least one outer pane, at least one inner pane, one or more middle panes arranged between the outer pane and the inner pane, adhesive layers each between respective two panes in a laminate, the outer pane protrudes over the other panes on a peripheral edge of the bulletproof window and the inner pane protrudes over the one or more middle panes on the peripheral edge of the bulletproof window, and a bullet resistant, rigid reinforcement covering at least a part of an inner side of the outer pane at the peripheral edge of bulletproof window, being arranged at least partly between the outer pane and the following middle pane in the extension of an adhesive layer, and being fitted to the inner side of the outer pane.

Bulletproof window

The present invention refers to a pane construction, particularly to be used in a motor vehicle, comprising transparent panes, layers and/or foils made of glass, ceramic, plastic or organic material, which are connected in a layered manner in a laminate, wherein the pane construction has transparent infrared (=IR) filtering layer means or a IR filtering foil for filtering of infrared (IR) radiation of the sunlight impinging the pane construction.

Pane construction

An armored window construction for a window opening of a body of a vehicle includes a bullet resistant pane, an armored inner frame arranged inside of the vehicle and overlapping at least part of a peripheral area of the bullet resistant pane, and a mounting frame for mounting the inner frame on the bullet resistant pane. The mounting frame is arranged within a peripheral step of the bullet resistant pane. The mounting frame includes a first part fixed on an inner surface of an outer glass pane of the bullet resistant pane within the peripheral step, and mounting protrusions protruding from the first part. The inner frame is fixed on the mounting protrusions. The first part of the mounting frame is pressed against a lowered window rabbet on an outside surface of the body of the vehicle.

Armoured window construction

The present invention relates to a pane construction or screen for covering and protecting at least a part of the outside of a ballistic block of a bullet proof window. The ballistic window for use in a motor vehicle may comprise the ballistic block having transparent panes and layers made of glass, ceramic, or plastic which are arranged in a layered manner in a laminate, and it has an outside surface which is covered completely or at least in part by the transparent pane construction.
