Method for estimating the voltage value relating to a live element uses five capacitors, wherein a first capacitor has its first pole connected to said live element; a second capacitor has its first pole connected to said live element; a third capacitor has its first pole connected to the second pole of the first capacitor and its second pole connected to ground; a fourth capacitor has its first pole connected to the second pole of the second capacitor and its second pole connected to the first pole of a fifth capacitor. The voltage value is estimated using: 1) a voltage value relating to a first node positioned along the conducting wire that connects the first capacitor to the third capacitor 2) a voltage value relating to a second node positioned along the conducting wire that connects the fourth capacitor to the fifth capacitor; 3) a capacitance value of the third capacitor; 4) a capacitance value of the fourth capacitor; 5) a capacitance value of the fifth capacitor.

Method of estimating a voltage

A sensor assembly includes an electrode extending along a longitudinal axis and a tubular section extending along the longitudinal axis and at least partially surrounding the electrode such that the tubular section is radially spaced from the electrode, the tubular section including a first layer made of an electrically insulating material and having a first length, a second layer made of an electrically conductive material disposed on an inner surface of the first layer and having a second length, and a third layer made of an of electrically conductive material disposed on an outer surface of the first layer and having a third length. The sensor assembly also includes a mass of dielectric material at least partially enclosing the electrode and the tubular section. The mass of dielectric insulating material fills through openings in the tubular section, and the second length and the third length are coextensive.

Electrical sensor assembly

A capacitive voltage sensor assembly includes a first electrode extending along a longitudinal axis, a tubular section surrounding a portion of the first electrode and positioned radially outward from the longitudinal axis and the first electrode, the tubular section including an insulating layer, an inner conductive layer, and an outer conductive layer, and a mass of dielectric insulating material at least partially enclosing the first electrode and the tubular section. The mass of dielectric insulating material fills through openings formed in the tubular section.

Constructive system regarding a capacitive sensor

A capacitive voltage sensor assembly includes a first electrode extending along a longitudinal axis, a second electrode surrounding a portion of the first electrode and positioned radially outward from the longitudinal axis and the first electrode, the second electrode including a flexible tubular portion, and a mass of dielectric insulating material at least partially encapsulating the first electrode and the second electrode. The flexible tubular portion is configured to move during solidification of the mass of dielectric resin, and the mass of dielectric resin fills through openings formed in the second electrode and forms a unitary insulating carrier structure for the first electrode and the second electrode.

A sensor assembly includes a connecting bar extending along a longitudinal axis and a tubular body extending along the longitudinal axis and at least partially surrounding the connecting bar such that the tubular body is radially spaced from the connecting bar. The tubular body includes a first skirt portion, a first plurality of cantilevered tabs extending from the first skirt portion in a first direction parallel to the longitudinal axis, a second skirt portion, and a second plurality of cantilevered tabs extending from the second skirt portion in a second direction opposite the first direction.

Capacitive voltage sensor assembly

A sensor assembly includes a connecting bar extending along a longitudinal axis and a tubular body extending along the longitudinal axis and at least partially surrounding the connecting bar such that the tubular body is radially spaced from the connecting bar. The tubular body includes a support member made of insulating material. The tubular body also includes a first section with an electric field sensor comprising a first layer of electrically conductive material on an inner surface of the support member to detect an electric field produced by the connecting bar. The first section also includes a first electric screen comprising a second layer of electrically conductive material on an outer surface of the support member to shield the electric field sensor from outside electrical interference. A second section disposed adjacent the first section includes a second electric screen. A dielectric material at least partially encloses the tubular body.

A capacitive voltage sensor assembly includes a first electrode extending along a longitudinal axis, the first electrode including a first end and a second end opposite the first end, a second electrode surrounding the second end of the first electrode, the second electrode including a tubular portion having a first end and a second end opposite the first end, and a base portion coupled to the first end of the tubular portion, and a mass of dielectric insulating material at least partially encapsulating the first electrode and the second electrode. The tubular portion includes a plurality of cantilevered tabs interconnected at the first end of the second electrode. Each tab of the plurality of cantilevered tabs is circumferentially separated from an adjacent tab of the plurality of cantilevered tabs to define a gap therebetween at the second end of the second electrode.

A constructive system regarding a capacitance electric voltage sensor comprises a source electrode (), a shielding tubular body (), an electric field sensor () and a mass of dielectric insulating material (). The electric field sensor () comprises at least one first inner sheet () and a second outer sheet () superimposed and joined together, wherein said first inner sheet () is made by means of a conductive metal material, wherein said second outer sheet () is made by means of an electrically insulating material, and wherein said second outer sheet () made of insulating material is constrained with respect to the inner face () of the shielding tubular element ().

Capacitive voltage-sensor assembly

A capacitive sensor to sense an electric field has a shield tube that extends axially along its own axis and has a first open end, an electric field sensor positioned within the shield tube, a source electrode, and a mass of dielectric insulating material positioned within the shield tube and around the shield tube. The shield tube is formed by a jacket having a plurality of first through openings that each have an area comprised between a minimum of 0.1 mmand a maximum of 3 mm.
