Method for increasing the injection speed of a plastic injection device

The invention relates to an apparatus for cooling a plurality of preforms made of thermoplastic material which continuously move on a conveyor belt. The apparatus includes a cylindrical casing with a vertical extension formed by two coaxial cylinders, such a casing contains a guide crossed by a chain or a cable for transporting the preforms therein. The guide, which forms a closed path, comprises a first helical stretch, which raises from the lower plane starting from a station in which the preforms coming from a conveying device are hooked by the chain or by the cable, a second straight stretch, which returns the preforms to the lower plane once they have reached the upper plane, and a third flat stretch at the height of the lower plane, which returns the preforms to the arrival station. The helical stretch of the guide is contained within a cooling tunnel formed in the gap between the two walls of the outer cylinder and the inner cylinder of said casing. The cooling air is conveyed within the cooling tunnel by a specific manifold which is located within the casing.

Post-molding cooling apparatus for preforms made of thermoplastic material

A plant for the production of containers made of PET comprises at least one rotary carousel for the production of preforms () and at least one zone, in which the preforms are either stored or they may be blown on another rotary carousel. The molded preforms are extracted from the carousel () by means of a transfer starwheel () provided with grippers () capable of performing complex translating-rotating type movements and independent grasping movements. An injection-compression plant for manufacturing PET performs comprises an extruder () to produce a melted resin, a distribution joint () for distributing the melted resin from the extruder () towards the injection-compression molds (), gathered in modular groups of three on supporting frames () arranged about the peripheral surface of the rotary carousel (). The joint () allows to transfer the fluid thermoplastic resin from the stationary channel () of the extruder () to the lateral feeding conduit () of each molding module (), said lateral feeding conduit being rotating with the carousel (). A coating system () for blown containers () made of plastic material, with high production rate and flexibility so as to allow an efficient coupling with the most advanced one-stage or blowing machines. Such coating system (), despite its high production rate, envisages a compact global structure with low implementation costs and contained energy consumption. Container coating system and process

A process and device for drying the coating of containers made of thermoplastic material. The process involves feeding said containers through a furnace divided into two areas: in the first, most of the solvent of the coating is removed by heating the paint with infrared lamps, while the temperature of the containers is controlled through an airflow; in the second, the remaining solvent is removed using said airflow coming from the first area of the furnace.

Process and device for treating the coating of thermoplastic resin containers

Preform heating device able to perform a precise and strongly localised heating of the preforms before the blow moulding phase of the plastic bottle or container production process. This device has an innovative construction configuration, thus allowing high efficiency thanks to the significant reduction in the energy required to reach the project temperatures in the heating element in a very rapid way. The inductor does not heat the preform directly, but takes to the temperature set, through the concentration of the magnetic flow, generated by the passage of current, a conductor material of a particular form that, by irradiation and convection, in turn heats the PET.

Heated blow mould for thermostabilizing treatment

A process and relating plant for applying protective coats of paint to containers, especially plastic bottles. The process involves gripping the bottles by means of rotating gripping devices fastened to a conveyor chain, and conveying said bottles to all the different stations involved in the process: coating, drying, and curing. Centrifugation is used to remove any excess coating from the external surface of the bottles, keeping the bottles fastened to the same conveyor chain.
