A tunable coaxial surge arrestor includes an inner conductor within a bore of an outer body of the coaxial surge arrestor. An inner end of a stub is coupled with the inner conductor. The stub is also coupled with the outer body at a selectable location along the length of the stub.

Tunable coaxial surge arrestor

An impedance adapter with body and cap portions coupled together encloses a cavity with a printed circuit board (PCB). The PCB is provided with a trace on a first side and a ground plane on a second side. The trace is coupled to a first contact at a first end of the PCB and a second contact at a second end of the PCB. The trace has a sinuous path between the first contact and the second contact, the path longer than a longitudinal axis length of the PCB. The first and second contacts are supported coaxial within the inner conductor bore of the respective cap portion and body portion by first and second end insulators. The ground plane coupled to the body portion and the cap portion. A method of manufacture for the adapter includes steps of pre-assembling the PCB, contacts and insulators before insertion into the cavity.

Coaxial impedance matching adapter and method of manufacture

A line hanger for securing lines, such as transmission, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical and other types of lines, to a support structure. The line hanger includes a wire structure with an attachment section configured for mounting to the support structure and a pair of clamping arms depending outwardly from the attachment provision. The clamping arms are configured to resiliently separate to receive a line and to resiliently relax for applying a clamping force to secure the line. The clamping arms are clasped together by engaging hook members defined at the open end of the wire structure. Multiple line hangers may be interlinked or stacked relative to the support structure for support multiple lines.

Line hanger

A sealing assembly for a cable to apparatus electrical interconnection. The assembly having a unitary cylindrical gasket, the outer diameter of the cylindrical gasket provided with an insertion opening to an interconnection cavity; the insertion opening having a generally circle sector shape at a cable end and an apparatus end, the insertion opening extending between the cable end and the apparatus end along the outer diameter. A generally C-shaped outer shell is dimensioned to seat along the outer diameter, the outer shell having outward protruding edge lips aligned with the insertion opening along the outer diameter. The edge lips movable towards one another to a closed position wherein the insertion opening is closed around the electrical interconnection; and means for retaining, such as a locking bar that fits over the edge lips.

Cable and apparatus interconnection close quarters environmental seal

A cable hanger having shell halves adapted to mate with each other, the shell halves each having an inner surface adapted to cooperate with the other to secure the cable within a cable space. The mating of the shell halves is releasably secured by a means for closure. A bolt hole through the shell halves allows easy mounting of the cable hanger. The shell halves each having, along a vertical mating surface, a means for interlocking adapted to interlock with the means for interlocking of a second cable hanger positioned against the cable hanger along the vertical mating surface. A connection side of the cable hanger may be adapted to have a means for latching to couple with a third cable hanger, positioned connection side to connection side with the cable hanger. The cable hanger allowing additional cables to be added without modifying the mounting of the base hanger.

Stackable cable hanger

A line hanger for securing lines, such as transmission, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical and other types of lines, to a support structure and a method of mounting and supporting one or more lines from a support structure. The line hanger includes an attachment support provision configured for mounting to the support structure and a pair of spaced-apart clamping arms depending outwardly from the attachment provision. The clamping arms are configured to resiliently separate for slidingly receiving an line and to resiliently relax for applying a clamping force to secure the line. Multiple line hangers may be interlinked or stacked relative to the support structure for support multiple lines.

A cable hanger for securing multiple cables to support structures including antenna towers and poles. The cable hanger has a hingeably-coupled pair of shell halves with recesses that, when folded, establish a pair of cable passageways. Gripping arms provided on each of the shell halves project into a corresponding one of the cable passageways for gripping a cable positioned therein. Pairs of gripping arms located on opposite shell halves have a confronting relationship for gripping the cable on diametrically opposite side surfaces.

Cable hanger

A sealing assembly for a cable to apparatus interconnection formed bya plurality of shells adapted to mate together, surrounding the interconnection within an interconnection space. When mated together, the shells forming openings for the cable and the apparatus at an apparatus end and a cable end, respectively. A gasket mounted to each shell along a mating surface between the shells and along the openings environmentally seals the interconnection space. A locking rib projecting inward from the shell(s) may be applied to rotationally interlock a coupling nut of the interconnection with the sealing assembly. In a two shell embodiment, a locking band positioned around an outer diameter of the mated together shells with an end to end retaining means may be used to secure the shells together. Alternatively, if three shells are used, the shells may be hinged together and a retaining means applied to join the unhinged ends together.

Cable and apparatus interface security device

A bulkhead penetration system for interlocking with a wall to feed cable therethrough is set forth. The system includes a bulkhead member having a shoulder disposed between a collar portion and a locking portion. A plurality of flexible outwardly extending fingers are formed about the locking portion with each finger having a fixed end and a retaining end. The bulkhead member interlocks with the wall such that the wall is retained between at least one of the retaining ends and the shoulder. The distances between retaining ends and the shoulder can vary such that a single system will generally interlock with walls of different thicknesses. The system further includes a boot defining a boot split and a boot bore. The boot includes an inner surface, a first sleeve portion sized to encompass the collar portion, and a second sleeve portion. A grommet defining at least one cable aperture is adapted for being received within the boot bore. Two fasteners for applying force are positioned on the boot to close the boot split and engage the system components. A gasket is removably disposed between the shoulder and retaining ends for providing a tight-fit against the wall. A method for penetrating a wall using a bulkhead penetration system that allows at least one cable to be fed through the wall is also set forth.

Bulkhead penetration system

A transmission line hanger is provided for attaching a corrugated transmission line to a supporting structure. The hanger includes a first section adapted to engage a first side of the transmission line and a second section adapted to engage a second side of the transmission line. The first and second sections define an inner generally cylindrical the gripping ribs forms a protrusion extending radially inward from the inner generally cylindrical surface. The gripping ribs are spaced to fit into corresponding recesses in the corrugated outer surface of the transmission line. In another embodiment, the hanger further includes a snap clasp having two elements. The first element is a lip on the exterior of the hanger. The second element is a latch having three sides. In still another embodiment, the hanger includes a first alignment pin and a first mating recess on the fist section and a second alignment pin and a second mating recess on the second section. The first recess being adapted to receive the second alignment pin and the first alignment pin being adapted to fit in the second mating recess to align the first section with the second section.
