A toy building block set includes multiple polyhedron blocks of different lengths removably attachable together. Each block includes at least a top and four side walls. At least one connector extends from the top and includes opposing interior and exterior surfaces. A recessed area is provided at the bottom of each block. Engagement projections or depressions are provided on the connector and the remaining engagement structure are provided in the recessed area of each block where they might fully or partially engage or not engage with structures on the connector. The mechanical interference engagements and resulting engagement forces provided between any two of the blocks are less than three and even less than two times the number of engagements and resulting engagement forces provided by a mated pair of the smallest polyhedron blocks of the set.

Toy building blocks

An activity device includes a housing, at least one interactive feature, and a rotatable container mounted on the housing. The container, which is capable receiving accessories, includes an outer wall and an inner wall that define a cavity therebetween. At least one of the inner or outer walls may be transparent. The cavity is configured to hold a fluid with objects dispersed therein. The rotation of the container about its axis causes agitation of the liquid medium and engages an actuator coupled to a control unit. The control unit, when actuated via the rotation of the container, generates sensory stimulating output.

Activity device

An apparatus having a support arm, a base coupled to the support arm to maintain the support arm in upright orientation and moveable between a first orientation in which the base is coupleable to a vertical surface, and a second orientation in which the base can rest on a horizontal surface. A light source is coupled to the support arm and a mobile coupled to said support arm, whereby when the base is in the first orientation, the apparatus can be coupled to a crib rail to function as a crib mobile, and when the base is in the second orientation, the apparatus can rest on a horizontal surface to function as a lamp.

Convertible entertainment device

A toy is provided having a motion detector that detects motion of the toy and generates a signal indicative of the motion. There is a visual display that is capable of selectively producing a visual output and an audio system capable of producing an audible output corresponding to, and descriptive of, the visual output.

An expression-varying device is disclosed. The device includes a supporting member that supports two eyeball bodies so that the eyeball bodies are free to pivot. The device also includes a connecting member that connects the two eyeball bodies, and that supports the eyeball bodies so that the eyeball bodies can pivot in synchronization in a side to side or left to right direction. The device includes a swinging mechanism that causes the connecting member to swing upward and downward and to the left and right. The swinging mechanism includes a disk in which a recessed groove is formed in a side surface of the disk and runs in a circumferential direction. The depth of the groove and distance of the groove from the center of the disk vary according to relative positions on the disk. The swinging mechanism includes a motor that causes the disk to rotate. An engaging shaft which engages with the recessed groove of the disk is formed on and protrudes from and to the side of the arm member. The arm member is driven by a driving member so that the tip end of the engaging shaft constantly contacts the bottom part of the recessed groove. The tip end of the arm member is caused to swing upward and downward and to the left and right in linkage with the recessed groove of the disk. Accordingly, the connecting member is caused to swing upward and downward and to the left and right, thus causing the two eyeball bodies to pivot so that various expressions are displayed.

Expression-varying device

The invention includes a toy having a translucent body that includes a first surface and a second surface. A light source is disposed opposite the first surface. The first surface includes an image of a facial feature in a first position and the second surface includes an image of the same facial feature in a second position. When the light source is illuminated, the facial feature appears to be in the first position and when the light source is not illuminated, the facial feature appears to be in the second position. An audible output generator produced audible output simultaneously with illumination of the light source.

Toy with correlated audible and visual outputs

A convertible toy walking or riding device or mechanism includes a body portion and a seat portion coupled to the body portion. The seat portion is moveable relative to the body portion to position the device in a walking configuration or in a riding configuration for use by a child.

Convertible walking and riding device and method of using the same

An in-line roller skate for use by children has a stability enhancing mechanism and a movement limiting mechanism. The stability enhancing mechanism includes two rollers, mounted on an axle, that are selectively positionable side-by-side in a normal mode or spaced apart in a stable mode. A combine arm having two fingers pivots downward to cam the rollers inward from the stable to the normal mode. Alternately, a separator arm pivots downward to slide the two rollers apart on the axle from the normal mode to the stable mode. The movement limiting mechanism includes a roller, mounted on an axle, that has teeth formed on the radially inner surface of the cylindrical outer portion. A pawl has a pawl arm extending into the inner cylindrical portion of the roller to engage the teeth and a pawl tongue that extends into a pawl adjuster. The pawl adjuster has a retaining slot and is slidably positioned in a well in the front chassis of the skate to cam the pawl up into a nonengaging position, corresponding to the free wheeling mode. The pawl adjuster can also be positioned to allow the pawl to ride on the teeth of the roller, corresponding to the forward only mode, or to restrain the pawl in the engaging position, corresponding to the full stop mode.
