A port multiplier for extending ports of a radio communication test instrument comprises an input for receiving at least one input signal, a power supply unit, a control logic, and at least one output for outputting a processed signal. The port multiplier is configured to split the at least one input signal into its different components such that a radio signal component of the input signal is forwarded to the at least one output. A power signal component of the input signal is forwarded to the power supply unit. Further, a control signal component of the input signal is forwarded to the control logic. Moreover, a radio communication test system for testing a device under test is described.

Port multiplier and radio communication test system

The present invention provides a frontend module for a modular configuration of a frontend. Each of the frontend modules is configured to achieve a configuration for combining multiple frontends. In particular, multiple signals relating to a relative small frequency range may be combined together to achieve a broadband test signal. For this purpose, radio frequency interfaces are provided in the frontend module for exchanging/distributing radio-frequency signals between the individual frontend modules.

A measuring device comprises at least one port, an external cable connected to the at least one port, a transmitter connected to the at least one port through a switch, a receiver connected to the at least one port through the switch and a reference path connecting the transmitter with the receiver through the switch. The cable is connected to calibration elements, e.g., short and open. The switch alternately switch in a manner that in a first state the transmitter and the receiver are connected to the at least one port and that in a second state the transmitter and the receiver are connected via the reference path.

The invention relates to an electronic assembly comprising a plurality of electronic component groups and a cooling device for cooling the electronic component groups. The cooling device provides a cooling-power distributor. A cooling power of the cooling device can be individually controlled by the cooling-power distributor for every component group. Furthermore, the assembly provides temperature-registering means for every component group for registering a temperature of every component group, and a load-determining device for determining a parameter for every component group which describes the load experienced by a component group on the basis of the temperature registered for this component group. A control unit controls the cooling-power distributor on the basis of the parameters determined for the component groups.

A circuit for signal conditioning including a first stage with a digital/analog converter, a second stage with an I/Q-modulator, and at least one third stage with a mixer. Instead of a multiplicity of independent oscillators, a shared oscillator is provided for the first, second, and third stages, from an output signal of which a respective oscillator signal and clock-pulse signal for each stage of the first, second, and third stages is derived. The oscillator signal and respective clock-pulse signal of the oscillator are supplied via a frequency divider to at least one stage of the first, second, and third stages, or the oscillator signal of the oscillator is supplied via a frequency multiplier to at least one stage. Also, the oscillator signal of the oscillator is supplied as a reference signal to a frequency synthesizer of at least one stage of the first, second, and third stages.
