A removable dust collecting receptacle for use in a dust compartment of a vacuum cleaner, comprising a dust separator, which functions according to the centrifugal force principle and which has a dust collecting compartment for collecting a dust fraction separated out of the air by the dust separator. The suction power of the vacuum cleaner is maintained over a long period of time by virtue of the fact that the dust collecting receptacle has at least one second dust collecting compartment for collecting at least one second dust fraction separated out by a separating device. The fine dust collected in the second dust collecting compartment via the separating device can no longer reach the filter, and the filter surface is prevented or largely prevented from being clogged by fine dust.

Removable dust collecting receptacle

A removable dust collector for use in a dust compartment of a vacuum cleaner is provided and includes a holder that maintains the dust collector in an operating position, and a locking member that is placed in a locking position when the dust collector is removed. A cover of the dust compartment is prevented from closing and is placed in a release position when the dust collector is in an operating position. The locking member is maintained in its release position either by means of a filter bag inserted into a carrier or by an actuating member associated with the dust collector.

A filter stop for a vacuum cleaner contains a dust chamber that is closable with a lid and receives a dust bag with a reinforcement plate in a specific fitting position. The filter stop has a base plate that is movable between two stopping positions parallel to the direction in which the reinforcement plate of the dust bag is inserted into the dust chamber. The filter stop is also provided with a swiveling lever that can be brought into a position activating the vacuuming function of the vacuum cleaner by the reinforcement plate when the dust bag is correctly positioned. The swiveling lever is in a position preventing the vacuuming function from being activated when the dust bag is not correctly positioned. The filter stop can be brought into a stop position activating the vacuuming function exclusively when the swiveling lever is actuated by a shoulder of the reinforcement plate.

A vacuum cleaner includes a dust collection compartment inside of which a dust bag with a reinforcing plate, which has a clip connected to the underside thereof, can be placed. The clip tapers toward the bottom in the shape of a funnel or trapezoid and is suited for insertion into a correspondingly configured fixture. The fixture has lateral guide elements that guide the reinforcing plate when pushed in. The configuration enables the dust bag to be easily inserted into the dust collection compartment without the involving the difficult placement inside a guide profile.
