A programmable phonograph record changer which provides automatic sound track selection for each of a plurality of records played sequentially by the record changer. The record changer includes an electro-optic scanner mounted on the pickup arm for sensing the land areas located between the various sound tracks of a disc-type record. An auxiliary tone arm lift and sweep mechanism is controlled by a digital logic system connected to the electro-optic scanner to drive the tone arm across various bands which the user does not want to be reproduced. The logic system includes a programmable memory which stores the preselected sound tracks of a sequence of records which the user intends to be reproduced.

Programmable record changer

A programmable phonograph record changer which provides automatic sound track selection for each of a plurality of records played sequentially by the record changer. The record changer includes an electro-optic scanner mounted on the pickup arm for sensing the land areas located between the various sound tracks of a disc-type record. An auxiliary tone arm lift and sweep mechanism is controlled by a digital logic system connected to the electro-optic scanner to drive the tone arm across various bands which the user does not want to be reproduced. The logic system includes a programmable memory which stores the preselected sound tracks of a sequence of records which the user intends to be reproduced. A land sensing circuit includes a means for developing a threshold signal which varies with the record surface reflectivity characteristics.

An arts and crafts type stamp kit including a frame having two generally elongated, diverging, horizontal leg portions for universally mounting an elevated stamp support arm generally at the juncture of the leg portions. An ink stamp is adjustably mounted by a stamp carrier on the free end of the stamp support arm for movement therewith and for longitudinal and rotational movement relative thereto. An ink pad is mounted on one of the legs, and a stamping surface is provided on the other of the legs so that ink may be transferred by the ink stamp from the ink pad to a suitable transferring surface, such as a sheet of paper, positioned on the stamping surface by movement of the support arm to first pick up a film of ink and transfer it to the sheet of paper. The stamp kit includes a rotatable pad on the end of the leg adjacent the stamping surface so that a sheet of paper may be pivotally secured thereto by a suitable adhesive. The paper may be selectively rotated so that repetitive stamping by the user can produce a circularly arranged series of images from the stamp.

Stamp design kit

A device and method for use in the art or craft of molding hollow artistic objects from thermoplastic molding material, such as wax. The molding device includes a frame with a vertical stationary, circular gear rack secured thereto. A crank driven shaft is journaled through the frame in a position concentric with the rack. A yoke-like mold carrier is secured to the end of the shaft for rotation therewith. A mold holder is, in turn, mounted on the mold carrier for rotation about an axis generally perpendicular to the crank shaft axis between the yoke arms of the mold carrier. The mold holder has a shaft projecting through one of the yoke arms of the mold carrier and is secured to and driven with a disc gear, which is enmeshed with the gear rack. As the crank is turned to rotate the mold carrier, the disc gear rides on the gear rack and rotates the mold holder. In operation, a mold in the form of a pair of mating mold halves providing a mold cavity is supplied with molten thermoplastic material, assembled, and mounted on the mold holder. Turning of the crank causes the mold to be rotated on the two generally perpendicular axes and generally evenly distributes the thermoplastic material on the interior of the mold cavity surface as it cools and sets.

Arts and crafts molding device

A toy pick-up vehicle combination including a plurality of playing objects positionable upon a supporting surface such as a floor or the like. A toy vehicle is provided for picking up the playing objects and includes a vehicle body having a playing object receptacle. Wheels are provided for the vehicle body for moving the vehicle over the supporting surface. A spongy, resilient paddle wheel is rotatably mounted on the vehicle body for rotation with the wheels for engagement with the playing objects on the supporting surface and for moving the objects upwardly into the receptacle.

Toy pick-up vehicle

An amusement device which includes a phonograph portion and a dancing band portion having a plurality of articulated figure toys in the form of band members movably mounted on a housing. A motor in the housing is controlled by electronic circuitry responsive to the rhythm or beat of the music from the phonograph portion. The motor moves the toy figures in unison with the beat of the music.

Sound actuated figure toys

A scrubbing device particularly for use by children. The scrubbing device has a frame in a shape resembling an automobile or other vehicle with four relatively soft scrubbing wheels attached thereto. A cake of soap is disposed within an interior compartment of the frame in contact with the back sides of the rear wheels of the vehicle. Rotation of the rear wheels by movement over the user's skin transfers the soap from the enclosed cake to the skin, with all four wheels providing for scrubbing action.

Scrubbing device

A walkie-talkie unit having a speaker connected to a radio transceiver for normal transmitting and receiving functions, plus a selectively actuatable audio signal generator. The generator generates one of a plurality of distinct signals of different frequency in response to a hand manipulatable actuator. When the walkie-talkie is in a transmitting mode the signal is transmitted to another walkie-talkie. When the walkie-talkie is in a receiving mode the signal is amplified by the generating walkie-talkie.
