The invention relates to a fastening element made from metal, having an expansion sleeve ( ) and an expansion member ( ), which expansion member ( ) is axially displaceable on the shank of a threaded bolt ( ), the threaded bolt ( ) having on its forward end an end-stop in the form of an expander ( ). On the threaded bolt ( ), between the expander ( ) and the expansion member ( ), there is arranged a spacing element ( ). In the event of a tensile load, the expander ( ) enters the spacing element ( ) and forms a deformation zone that corresponds to the length of the spacing element ( ). As a result of the friction and deformation occurring in the deformation zone, overloads are absorbed and, consequently, the fastening element is prevented from coming out or the threaded bolt from breaking off.

Expansible anchor

A device for fastening an object to a wall including an insert having self-tapping external threading, a cavity, and an insertion end. A setting tool removably engages the insert cavity and has a tool blade protruding through the insert cavity and the insertion end. The tool blade includes a drilling point for making a rough opening in the wall. The setting tool screws the insert into the rough opening whereby the external threading engages the rough opening. A fastener is screwed into the insert cavity upon removal of the setting tool.

An expansion anchor for insertion into a cylindrical hole of a mounting substrate possesses two expansion cones with coordinated expansion rings. The expansion rings are provided with radially protruding beads extending from the rear rim up into the center area of the expansion rings. Starting at the front rim in an insertion direction, axial incisions are provided in addition to a traversing slot, which define an expansion area of the expansion rings.

A composite anchor for insertion in a borehole in a soil consists of an anchoring rod with several expanding cones and is surrounded, in its insertion section, by a screen sleeve of a wire mesh, which screen sleeve effects a borehole cleaning and mixing of the mortar compound as the composite anchor is driven in.

A tie rod with a fastening section presenting several spreading cones is provided with a cage which divides the hardenable mortar composition used for the fastening in a cylindrical bore hole into segments. On the occurrence of a crack through the fastening ground of the bore hole, a respreading of the mortar shell formed by the hardenable mortar composition is made possible by a tensile force on the tie rod.

A spreading anchor comprising an anchor rod (1) including a spreading cone (5) on its front end (4) in the direction of insertion of said anchor (1), the spreading cone (5) flaring in the insertion direction and adapted to cooperate with a spreading sleeve (9) which is provided with several longitudinal slots (10), said slots (10) originating from the front rim (11) of said spreading sleeve (9) and forming spreading lamellae (18), at least two of said spreading lamellae (18) being opposed, the end faces (21) of said opposed lamellae (18) in the insertion direction being provided with cutting inserts.

Spreading anchor

A dispenser for storing, mixing and dispensing two components. A casing contains the first component and has a piston therein. A mixing tube containing the second component is axially housed in the casing and has an open end sealed by the piston until mixing of the two components is desired. The mixing tube has a mixing plate adjacent the open end to agitate and mix the two components. The mixing plate comprises arms extending from the mixing with flapping vanes attached on one side of each arm.

Anchoring bolt

An arrangement for mounting an object to a support structure having a rear side which is difficult of access, has an anchoring element including a base portion and a plurality of leg portions extending from the base portion, and a mounting element arranged for mounting the object to the support structure and urging the anchoring element to abut against the support structure at the rear side thereof. The leg portions of the anchoring element are substantially rigid in a longitudinal direction which corresponds to a loading direction of the arrangement, and are resiliently yieldable in a transverse direction so that when the anchoring element is inserted into a mounting hole of the support structure the leg portions are urged toward one another in the transverse direction, and when the anchoring element passes rearwardly beyond the rear side of the support structure the leg portions spread apart from one another in the transverse direction. The mounting element extends through an inner passage of the base portion of the anchoring element and is operative for urging the latter so that the leg portions of the anchoring element abut against the support structure at the rear side of the latter.
