A rolling marker assembly enables a user to mark serially-presented, repeating patterns upon a marking surface. The marker assembly comprises an outer casing and a marking caster assembly. The marking caster assembly comprises at least one compressible medium-dispensing pad and at least one pad mask. The pad mask comprises at least one patterned aperture. The medium-dispensing pad is impregnated with a compression-releasable marking medium. The caster assembly is rotatable about an axis of rotation and the medium-dispensing pad is compressible against the pad mask thus forming at least one pattern-exposed pad portion adjacent the patterned aperture. The marker assembly is manually traceable adjacent a marking surface and the pattern-exposed pad portion is compressible upon the marking surface for dispensing the marking medium therefrom for marking a pattern upon the marking surface. The casing enables the user to more effectively guide and compress the caster assembly for marking the pattern(s).

Marker assembly, marking method, and kit

The present invention provides a fuel treatment apparatus for magnetically treating fuel flowing through a fuel conduit. The fuel treatment apparatus essentially comprises an upper magnet assembly, a lower magnet assembly, and a fastening assembly. The magnet assemblies each comprise a magnet positioning cradle, a magnet, and a magnet cover plate. Each cradle comprises a pair of seat flanges upon which the magnets seat. The cover plates maintain the magnets in seated engagement within the cradles and a uniform magnetic field is directed orthogonal to the planes in which the seat flanges lie. Each cradle further comprises a conduit-receiving groove. When the magnet assemblies are fastened to one another via the fastening assembly, the conduit-receiving grooves cooperatively form conduit-receiving apertures. The typically linear fuel conduit is receivable through the conduit-receiving apertures and thus the fuel treatment apparatus is designed to magnetically treat fuel flowing through the fuel conduit.

An adherent timer device for mounting upon a prescription medicine bottle cap. The device comprises a cover having an aperture through the cover and a skirt extending from the cover with a lip portion inwardly protruding from the skirt. An electronic counting means having an electronic display viewable through the aperture of the cover resides within the skirt. A battery powering the electronic counting means is springably engaged with the electronic counting means. A reset post for breaking engagement of the battery with the electronic counting means extends from the cover. An insulating pull tab is placed between the battery and a spring contact plate interrupting flow of energy from the battery to the electronic counting means. A mounting face has structure for snap fit engagement with the inner lip of the skirt and an adhesive backing for securing the mounting face to a prescription medicine bottle cap.

The bottle cap reminder device has a cap with an electronic counter means disposed within the cap. The electronic counter means progressively counts the time when activated and resets the time when deactivated. A power source preferably a battery provides the energy to run the electronic counter means. The power source is preferably housed within the electronic counter means and connected in circuit to the electronic counter means. A switching means is employed to activate and deactivate the electronic counter means. The switching means is comprised of a conductive contact lever connected in circuit to and extending from the electronic counter means, a conductive contact spring in conductive contact with the power source, and a conductive contact plate in conductive contact with the conductive contact spring.

A storage case for a compact optical disc retains trays for the disc in a spring loaded arrangement that is released by a latch mechanism easily activated using one hand. The case is formed by top and bottom portions of alternative configurations. A storage system is provided for storing and displaying the trays. The storage system has a base, and rails which engage slots in the tray. A shipping container is provided for shipping either the tray or the individual compact disc.

A convenient versatile telephone handset has one set of telephone activating keys and another set of computer control keys. The special telephone handset can also have a card-receiving slot and a recessed mouthpiece. Advantageously, the flexible telephone handset is particularly useful for business travelers in airplanes, trains, and buses to link up to reservation systems and other data bases.

According to the invention there is provided a cord rewinder which includes two sets of multiple pulleys, each set being seated at an opposite end of an elongate housing. One set is fixed in place while the other set is biased toward its corresponding end of the housing. When a pull is applied to a cord helically wound around the pulleys and extending along the length of the housing between the pulleys, the biased pulley set moves toward the fixed pulley set releasing the cord. When the pull is removed, the biased pulley set moves back to its end position retracting the cord.

Telephone cord rotary connector

A wobble stick control switch assembly for operating remotely adjusted vehicle outside rear-view mirrors. The stick is guided through orthogonally intersecting slots to move a cylindrical holder having insert molded wiper contacts over the surface of a circuit board having pairs of stationary contacts for reversible remote servomotor control. A barrel member having a shorting bar in one end is disposed rotatably within the cylindrical holder and has a rectangular slot engaged by the end of the stick. Rotation of the stick in a clockwise and counter clockwise direction rotates the barrel to cause the shorting bar to connect separate pairs of stationary contacts on the circuit board to select as between plural remote locations to be controlled, e.g. left or right outside mirror adjustment motors. Rotation of the stick to an intermediate neutral position causes detents to lift the shorting bar from the circuit board.

A convenient versatile telephone handset and holder assembly are provided, which are particularly useful for business travelers in airplanes, trains, ships, and buses to link up to reservation systems and other data bases. The telephone handset preferably has one set of telephone activating keys and another set of computer control keys. The special telephone handset can also have a card-receiving slot and a recessed mouthpiece. The handset holder assembly has a sloping bottom portion and an elastomeric biasing member to facilitate quick removal fo the telephone handset. An overhead lock assembly can be provided to engage the credit card-receiving slot of the telephone handset in order to secure the handset when the handset is stored in the holder. A special reversible mount plate and bracket can also be provided to quickly and securely mount the handset to the left, right, or other portions of a chair, bulkhead, or other surface.
