Devices, systems, and apparatuses are provided for enhanced hair covering. An enhanced covering device may include a first outer layer made of a first material type. The enhanced covering device may include a second inner layer disposed inside the first layer, wherein the second layer is made of a second material type. The enhanced covering device may include an elastic band situated on an interior of the hair covering device at a first edge, wherein the elastic band permits air out of the hair covering device while preventing air from flowing back into the interior of the hair covering device.

Enhanced hair covering

A fabric is provided for use in safety apparel, including a first yarn type comprising at least about 60 percent modacylic fibers and a second yarn type comprising an intimate blend of anti-static fibers and other fibers selected from the group of fibers consisting of polyester, nylon, rayon, modacrylic, cotton, wool, and combinations thereof. The fabric meets the American Society for Testing and Materials standard ASTM F-1506 for flame resistance, Federal Test Method Standard 191A, Method 5931 for electrostatic decay, and the Electrostatic Discharge Association Advisory ADV11.2-1995 voltage potential.

Flame-resistant, high visibility, anti-static fabric and apparel formed therefrom

A convertible roofing material which includes an outer fabric layer formed at least partially of polymeric coated, core yarns such as a polyester core coated with polyvinyl chloride.

Convertible top fabric

A fabric for use in safety apparel comprising a first set of yarns comprising modacrylic fibers, and a second set of yarns comprising anti-static fibers. The fabric meets the Federal Test Method Standard 191A, Method 5931 for electrostatic decay, and the Electrostatic Discharge Association Advisory ADV11.2-1995 voltage potential.

A yarn, fabric, and apparel formed from modacrylic fibers and high energy absorptive fibers. When the yarn is formed into a fabric comprised substantially of the yarn, the fabric meets the American Society for Testing and Materials standard for flame resistance and the National Fire Protection Association standard for arc thermal performance exposure.

Flame-resistant and high visibility fabric and apparel formed therefrom

A fabric for use in safety apparel and items of apparel formed substantially from modacrylic yarns and a cationic dye applied to the fabric so that the dyed fabric meets both the American National Standards Institute guidelines for high-visibility safety apparel and the guidelines of the American Society for Testing and Materials for flame resistant textiles.

The present invention is directed to a method and apparatus for throwing balls. In particular, it is useful for throwing baseballs and softballs, and for lobbing tennis balls. The apparatus includes a number of components which cooperate to discharge balls at a relatively high velocity. A rotor member is provided. It is coupled to a motor shaft of a motor, preferably an electrical motor. A stator member is provided having an inlet for receiving balls and an outlet for discharging balls. The stator member completely encloses the rotor member and motor shaft thus enclosing all moving parts. Preferably, the rotor member includes a mounting member which couples to the shaft of the motor and which is positioned substantially orthogonal to the shaft of the motor. Additionally, the rotor member includes first and second parallel rails which are coupled to the mounting member and spaced apart a preselected distance which is sufficient to accommodate the balls. Preferably, the stator member defines a generally disc-shaped cavity having a predefined circumference and a predefined width. Preferably, the first and second rails of the rotor are sufficiently long to extend across the predefined circumference of the disc-shaped cavity and are sufficiently wide to extend across the predefined width of the disc-shaped cavity. Preferably, the inlet of the stator member is located at a an axis of rotation of the rotor member, opposite from the mounting member so that balls may be deposited intermediate the first and second parallel rails. Preferably, the outlet is located on the stator member at a position which is substantially tangential to a circular path defined by the rotor member. An adjustable deflector member may be located at the outlet for modifying the trajectory of balls.
