The present invention generally relates to methods of eliciting an immune response in a porcine species subject. In particular, an immunomodulator composition is used to induce an immune response to enhance the subject's ability to fight infectious pathogens.

The present invention relates to compositions and methods for immunomodulation which are effective for increasing conception rate in cows.

Increased fertility in bovine species

The present invention relates to immunomodulator compositions and methods of use as well as methods of making. The immunomodulator compositions comprise immunostimulatory plasmids, or DNA sequence, capable of eliciting an immune response in a recipient subject. Further, the immunostimulatory plasmids, or DNA sequence, do not contain antibiotic resistance coding sequence to help reduce the potential of horizontal transfer of antibiotic resistance in a population.

Immunostimulatory plasmids

The present invention relates to a method of immune activation which is effective for eliciting a non-antigen-specific immune response in a member of the bovine species. The method is particularly effective for protecting a member of the bovine species from infectious disease and treating animals inflicted with infectious disease.
