Systems and methods for deploying tutorial content to websites via tag management systems are disclosed. In an example, a tutorial deployment application accesses a content segment and a condition for displaying the content segment. The application generates a tutorial object including code to display the content segment. The application integrates the tutorial object into the set of runtime tags by selecting a tag from a set of runtime tags that control operations of a website and links the tag with the tutorial object. Based on a performance of the operation, the condition is met, and the tag is executed, causing the tutorial object to be loaded and executed by the website and the content segment to be displayed by the website.

Integrating web-based tutorials into websites using a tag manager

In implementations of contrast-ratio-based color generation, a user interface displays on a display device of a computing device, where the user interface includes a background color and content colors of content displayed in the user interface. A color generation module implemented by the computing device receives input that changes the background color in the user interface. The color generation module can then calculate a brightness value of the background color, calculate target contrast ratios of the respective content colors based on the brightness value of the background color, generate color values for new content colors based on the calculated target contrast ratios of the respective content colors, calculate respective brightness values of the new content colors based on the generated color values for the new content colors, and adjust a saturation and hue of the new content colors based on the calculated respective brightness values of the new content colors.

Contrast-ratio-based color generation

In implementations of contrast-ratio-based color generation, a user interface displays on a display device of a computing device, where the user interface includes a background color and content colors of content displayed in the user interface. A color generation module implemented by the computing device receives an input that changes the background color in the user interface. The color generation module can then calculate a brightness value of the background color, calculate target contrast ratios of the respective content colors based on the brightness value of the background color, generate color values for new content colors based on the calculated target contrast ratios of the respective content colors, calculate respective brightness values of the new content colors based on the generated color values for the new content colors, and adjust a saturation and hue of the new content colors based on the calculated respective brightness values of the new content colors.

In embodiments of customized and automated dynamic infographics, an infographic template is received at a cloud-based service from a computing device, where a user at the computing device creates the infographic template in a graphics application to display data obtained from data sources. The cloud-based service assigns an identifier to associate the infographic template and the data sources of the data, and posts the infographic template making it available for cloud-based access by other computing devices that request to display the posted infographic template. The cloud-based service can receive a request from one of the computing devices to update the displayed data, and then query the data sources for current data, where the query is based on the identifier that is associated with the posted infographic template. The cloud-based service can then transform the current data to generate updated data, and update the posted infographic template with the updated data.

Customized and automated dynamic infographics

Techniques for interactive scene graph manipulation for visualization authoring are described. In implementations, visual marks are grouped into containers. Each container includes layout settings independent of other containers, and the layout settings are individually adjustable. The visual marks are configured to represent data values. Additionally, the containers are nested in a hierarchy. Then, data visualizations are constructed for display via a user interface of a display device. For example, the data visualizations can be constructed by applying data values to the visual marks and layout settings of the containers to the visual marks grouped within the nested containers to generate the data visualizations.

Interactive scene graph manipulation for visualization authoring

Systems and methods are disclosed for analyzing a plurality of clickstreams associated with a resource to identify popular navigational patterns traversed by users of the resource. The analysis provides a navigational framework for performing continued analysis on segmented portions of the identified navigational patterns. To facilitate the analysis, clickstreams associated with the resource are analyzed to identify sets of clickstreams that have a common group of assets with which users of the resource interacted. Navigational patterns, which include commonly traversed series of assets interacted with by the users, are determined for the identified sets. The navigational pattern is then provided to identify popular navigational patterns traversed by users of the resource.

Clickstream visual analytics based on maximal sequential patterns

Certain embodiments involve generating graphical depictions of data sets based on mapping paths of graphical objects to data properties. In one example, a graphics editing application displays a graphical interface for mapping a vector-based graphic to a data set. The vector-based graphic includes graphical objects defined by connected paths. The graphical interface receives input specifying modifications to visual properties of different graphical objects. For graphical objects mapped to data properties in the data set, the graphics editing application applies constraints to visual property modifications, where the constraints are based on mappings to the data properties in the data set. For graphical objects without mappings to data properties, the graphics editing application applies visual property modifications without these constraints. The graphics editing application updates the graphical interface to include modified versions of the vector-based graphic, with the graphical objects having mappings being modified in accordance with the applied constraints.

Generating graphical depictions of data sets based on mapping paths of graphical objects to data properties

The present disclosure is directed toward systems and methods for analyzing event sequence data. Additionally, the present disclosure is directed toward systems and methods for providing visualizations of event sequence data analyses. For example, systems and methods described herein can analyze event sequence data related to websites and provide matrix-based visualizations of the event sequence data. The matrix-based visualization can be interactive and can allow a user to trace changes in traffic volume across webpages and hyperlinks of a website.
