A device includes a flexible printed circuit board (PCB) that includes a first battery connection, a second battery connection, and a mechanical coupling apparatus. The first battery connection is for providing a first electrical connection to a first terminal of a battery. The second battery connection is for providing a second electrical connection to a second terminal of the battery. When the flexible PCB is in a first flex position, the first and second battery connections are at a distance where at least one of the first battery connection and the second battery connection is not electrically coupled to the respective one of the first and second terminals of the battery. When the flexible PCB is in a second flex position, the battery is electrically coupled to the first and second battery terminals and is mechanically held in place by the mechanical coupling apparatus.

Integrated and flexible battery securing apparatus

A label sensor that can be affixed to an item includes a first section and a second section. The first section includes a memory, an environmental sensor, a radio frequency (RF) front end that includes a tuning circuit, and a processing module. The processing module is operably coupled to the memory, the environmental sensor, and the RF front end. The second section includes an activation circuit that is operable, upon receiving an input, to activate one or more of the memory, the environmental sensor, the RF front end and the processing module. The activation causes the label sensor to be put in a first operational mode of a plurality of operational modes.

Flexible label with activating circuitry

A device includes a first printed circuit board (PCB) section, a second PCB section and a flexible section. The first PCB section a first battery connection for providing an electrical connection to a first terminal of the battery and a first mechanical coupling apparatus. The second PCB section includes a second battery connection for providing an electrical connection to a second terminal of the battery and a second mechanical coupling apparatus. The flexible section is coupled to the first and second PCBs, and when in a first position, the battery connections are not electrically coupled to a respective one of the terminals of the battery. When in a second position, the first mechanical coupling apparatus is mechanically coupled to the second mechanical coupling apparatus and the battery is electrically coupled to the first and second battery terminals.

A label sensor that can be affixed to an item includes a first section and a second section. An electronic device includes a processing module, battery, input and/or output module, a first printed circuit board (PCB) section, a second PCB section and a flexible section. The first PCB section includes a mounting section for the processing module, a first battery connection for providing an electrical connection to a first terminal of the battery and a first mechanical coupling apparatus (MCA). The second PCB section includes a second battery connection for providing an electrical connection to a second terminal of the battery and a second MCA. The flexible section is coupled to the first and second PCBs, and when in a first position, the battery connections are not electrically coupled to a respective one of the terminals of the battery. When in a second position, the first MCA is mechanically coupled to the second MCA and the battery is electrically coupled to the first and second battery terminals.

An image processor system for a charge coupled device (CCD) or CMOS imaging system includes a correlated double sample and variable gain (CDSVGA) circuit for receiving data from a CCD system and an automatic gain control (AGC) circuit which first controls gain by adjusting said CCD system and then for yet a higher gain level makes gain adjustments in said CDSVGA circuit AND a digital gain circuit to produce a combined target gain level. A processing system for an imager device includes a camera system for producing an imager signal, a correlated double sample (CDS) circuit for receiving data from an imager, a variable gain amplifier (VGA), an analog-to-digital converter (ADC) coupled to said CDS circuit, a digital gain circuit (DGC) coupled to said ADC, and an automatic gain control (AGC) circuit coupled to said DGC for controlling the CDS circuit and the DGC. The processing circuitry includes an analog front end and a digital signal processing system for capturing full motion video and outputting a CCIR 601 4:2:2 YCrCb video data output for presentation on a user selected display.

Correlated double sampling variable gain amplifier circuit for use in a digital camera

An integrated circuit having a unique identifying module includes a first and second bonding pads that are deposited on a die. The identifying module further includes a bond determining module that is operably coupled to the first and second bonding pads. As coupled, the bond determining module determines the bonding status of the first and second bonding pads. For example, the bonding status indicates whether a packaged pin is bonded to the first bonding pad, the second bonding pad, both bonding pads or neither bonding pad. Based on the bonding status, the bond determining module produces a die identifier which uniquely identifies the integrated circuit.
