A mechanical fastener for an electrical interface may include a first handle and a second handle The first handle and second handle are located on opposite sides of the mechanical fastener. The mechanical fastener may also include a first housing, a second housing coupled to the first housing, an electrical interface housed in the mechanical fastener between the first and second housings, a first lever intermediary between the first handle and the first housing and mechanically coupled to the second handle, a second lever intermediary between the second handle and the second housing and mechanically coupled to the first handle, a first post coupled to the first handle and the second lever, and a second post coupled to the second handle and the first lever.

Electrical interface fasteners

In some examples, a fluid dispensing assembly removably mountable in a fluid dispensing system includes a body and a fluidic die attached to the body. A vent is arranged on the body to direct cooling airflow generated by an external airflow generator that is external of and separate from the fluid dispensing assembly into an inner portion of the fluid dispensing assembly, the inner portion being within the body.

A fluid ejection device may include a laminate fluid manifold comprising plates extending in a plane and stacked in a laminate plate stack. The stack may include a first fluid passage extending parallel to and between plates of the laminate plate stack and a second fluid passage extending parallel to and between plates of the laminate plate stack. The first fluid passage and the second fluid passage overlap when viewed from a direction perpendicular to the plane.

Laminate manifolds for mesoscale fluidic systems

A fluid ejection device may include a laminate fluid manifold including plates in a laminate plate stack. The stack may include a fluid passage extending to an edge of the laminate plate stack. A die maybe secured across the edge of the laminate plate stack, wherein the die includes opening to receive fluid transmitted through the fluid passage.

A printhead comprises a first member and a second member, formed separately from the first member. The second member is nested within a first space defined by the first member. A plurality of fluidic transmission channels is formed between the first and second members to convey ink to an outer surface of the first and second members.

A display element () corresponds to a pixel of a display. The display element includes a top electrode () connected to a first addressable line of the display, and a bottom electrode () connected to a second addressable line of the display. The display element includes a display mechanism () situated between the top electrode and the bottom electrode and having a number of individually turned-on steps. Each individually turned-on step has a turn-on voltage threshold at which the step is turned on upon a voltage applied between the top and the bottom electrodes equal to or greater than the turn-on voltage threshold. Each individually turned-on step has a turn-off voltage threshold at which the step is turned off upon a voltage applied between the top and the bottom electrodes equal to or less than the turn-off voltage threshold.

Pixel wells and a grid of electrical lines including electrical bridges are formed using an ultraviolet transparent mandrel having a three-dimensional surface and an integrated mask.

Among various embodiments of the present disclosure, displaying electrophoretic particles can be performed by configuring an electrophoretic display for directed spreading of electrophoretic particles across a number of substantially planar display electrodes. Such a configuration can be accomplished by controlling planar spreading of the electrophoretic particles in an electrophoretic pixel with an electrical field between an in-plane storage electrode and an in-plane activation electrode. The in-plane activation electrode can be connected to an in-plane display electrode, which extends across a first area in the electrophoretic pixel adjacent to a display aperture having a second area that is substantially coextensive with the first area.

Exemplary methods and apparatus are provided herein related to display systems. According to one exemplary embodiment, a method of forming a display is discussed that includes providing an embossable material and embossing the embossable material to form a plurality of features including at least one geometric adhesive portion.

An integrated fuel cell stack and catalytic combustor apparatus includes a fuel cell stack assembly having multiple fuel cell stacks between which is defined a cavity, each of said fuel cell stacks including a plurality of individual fuel cells; and a catalytic combustor disposed at least partially within the cavity, the catalytic combustor having a catalytic bed and a catalytic igniter. Also disclosed are a method of producing electricity including catalytically combusting surplus reactants of the reaction of an oxidant and a fuel across fuel cell stacks within a catalytic combustor disposed between the stacks to normalize the temperature profile along the fuel cell stacks, and a fuel cell system including means for normalizing a temperature profile along a length of a means for conducting an electrochemical reaction using an opposite heat generation temperature profile.
