In one embodiment, a method includes an intelligent communication device detecting that a person is visible to a camera of the device, determining a first biometric characteristic of the person discernable by the device, associating the first biometric characteristic with a user identifier unique to the person, determining, while the person is identifiable based on the first biometric characteristic, a second biometric characteristic of the person discernable by the device, and associating the second biometric characteristic with the user identifier. The method also includes the device determining that a detected person has a detected biometric characteristic, determining that the detected person is associated with the user identifier by matching the detected biometric characteristic to the first biometric characteristic or the second biometric characteristic, and applying, while the detected person is identifiable based on the detected biometric characteristic, a user-specific customization associated with the user identifier.

User-specific customization of video conferences using multimodal biometric characterization

Exemplary embodiments relate to techniques for managing contact information received in the context of a messaging system. Messages may be received from known contacts which contain user contact records for third parties. Based on the trust relationship with the known contacts, the user contact record is placed in a contact record repository for later retrieval. When another message is received which either references the user contact record or is from the third party referenced in the user contact record, a dialog box is presented offering the user the opportunity to add the user contact record as an address entry in the address book of the device.

Techniques to manage contact records

A client device receives video data and displays the video data via a display device. An overlay including content other than the video data is also displayed in a specific area of the display device and at least partially occludes the video data displayed within the specific area of the display device. The client device identifies coordinates of regions of interest within frames of the video data. When the client device determines that at least a threshold amount of a region of interest within the video data is displayed within the specific area of the display device, where the overlay is displayed, for at least a threshold amount of time, the client device increases a transparency of the overlay, repositions the overlay, of otherwise modifies the overlay to prevent the overlay from occluding the region of interest.

A magnet encapsulated within a canister formed from two cans into a laminated structure particularly useful in plasma processing reactors. Each can includes an end wall and a cylindrical sidewall. One can additionally includes an annular lip that slidably fits outside the sidewall of the other can with a small gap therebetween. The magnet is inserted into the two cans together with a flowable and curable adhesive such as epoxy. The cans are slid together and compressed to cause the adhesive to flow between the magnet and the two cans and between the lip of one can and the sidewall of the other. The adhesive is cured to bond the magnet to the cans and to bond the cans together and to also hermetically seal the structure. The cans may be deep drawn from non-magnetic stainless steel with wall thicknesses of less than 0.064 mm.

In one embodiment, a target alignment surface disposed on a target support mechanically engages a darkspace shield alignment surface disposed on a darkspace shield as the target is lodged into a chamber body. The respective alignment surfaces are shaped and positioned so that the darkspace shield is physically moved to a desired aligned position as the alignment surfaces engage each other. In this manner a darkspace shield may be directly aligned to a target within a semiconductor fabrication chamber to provide a suitable darkspace gap between the target and the darkspace shield.

The method comprises scanning a beam of electromagnetic energy across a surface of one or more process chamber components to form a plurality of features thereon, positioning the one or more chamber components into a process chamber, and initiating a process sequence within the process chamber.

Method of surface texturizing

A method and system for providing a texture to a surface of a workpiece, such as a chamber component is provided. The method comprises providing a workpiece to a texturizing chamber and scanning a beam of electromagnetic energy across the surface of the workpiece to form a plurality of features thereon. The features formed are generally depressions, protuberances, and combinations thereof. The chamber components may include, for example, a chamber shield and related assembly, a target, a shadow ring, a contact ring, a substrate support or other component disposable within a processing chamber. Also provided is a method of reducing contamination in a process chamber. The method comprises scanning a beam of electromagnetic energy across a surface of one or more process chamber components to form a plurality of features thereon, positioning the one or more chamber components into a process chamber, and initiating a process sequence within the process chamber.

A method and apparatus for forming a coating on a sputter chamber workpiece. The apparatus generally includes a sputter chamber having at least one workpiece. The at least one workpiece generally includes one or more trenches formed therein, the trenches being configured to define an arc spray coating region. The method generally includes forming one or more trenches in the workpiece, the trenches defining a coating region and applying a metal coating to the coating region by arc spraying.

The shield assembly can include an upper adapter assembly, at least one shield member, a cover ring and an insulator member. A magnetron for use in a DC magnetron sputtering reactor that can rotate at a smaller diameter during a deposition phase and at a larger diameter during a cleaning phase, whereby sputter material redeposited outside of the deposition sputtering track is removed during the cleaning phase. An embodiment for a two-diameter magnetron includes a swing arm fixed on one end to the magnetron rotation motor shaft and on the other end to a pivot shaft, pivotably coupled to the magnetron. When the magnetron is rotated in different directions, hydrodynamic forces between the magnetron and the chilling water bath cause magnetron to pivot about the pivot shaft. Two mechanical detents fix the limits of the pivoting and hence establish the two diameters of rotation.
