Systems and methods for documenting, recording, and interpreting the eccentric photorefraction, pupillary light reflex and the corneal light reflex eye screening tests in infants and young children. The system includes a computing device having an image capturing device, a light generating device, and a display. The system includes a computer application that is executable on the computing device and operative to utilize the computing device to perform eye screening tests. The system also includes a website that allows users to upload captured images from the computing device, so that the images may be processed, analyzed, and recorded.

System and methods for documenting and recording of the pupillary red reflex test and corneal light reflex screening of the eye in infants and young children

A device for selective delivery of therapeutic agents to internal body tissues is disclosed. Upon tight sealing of the device to targeted tissues the diffusion of therapeutic agents to the targeted tissue can be controlled, while minimizing exposure of adjacent organs to the agents being delivered. Mechanisms for replenishment of the device and methods for application of the device in remote sites of the body are disclosed.

Implantable and sealable medical device for unidirectional delivery of therapeutic agents to tissues

A surgically implantable and sealable delivery device that upon contact of its contents via an interface window or port therein with an organ or tissue exposes a therapeutic agent to the organ or tissue surface, allowing a controlled, selective and unidirectional diffusion of the agent into the tissue or organ. The device protects adjacent organs or tissue structures from unnecessary high levels of the delivered agent. Novel methods to deliver chemotherapeutics or bioactive agents to mammalian organs or tissues through a surgically implanted device by the way of a selective and protected diffusion mechanism are disclosed as well as method to achieve the sealing properties of the device.
