A cosmetic composition is provided which includes an alpha- or beta-hydroxycarboxylic acid at least partially neutralized and a taurate copolymer in a low pH system. The taurate copolymer improves skinfeel and provides viscosity to the system.

Thickened cosmetic compositions

A method for a skin treatment regime and a respective product is provided which cosmetically improves human skin. The product includes a first composition containing at least one active and functioning to impart a first benefit to the skin. A second composition is provided which includes a second different active and imparts a second benefit to the skin. The first and second compositions are stored in respective separate containers, which nevertheless are joined together for reminding a consumer to use the compositions in tandem and to facilitate in one sale all necessary elements of a suggested regime. Packaging suitable for this purposes can be a series of stackable jars releasably lockable together through a threaded screw arrangement one above the other.

Treatment regime for skin

A cosmetic composition is provided which includes an organic sunscreen agent, a water-insoluble polymeric powder of porous particles, and an aqueous system wherein pH is less than 7. The porous particles remove the tackiness normally associated with organic sunscreen agents and low pH systems thereby providing a resultant composition of excellent skinfeel.

A cosmetic product and method for imparting a natural-appearing tan to skin is provided, the product being in the form of a multi-compartment dispenser. A first and second substance are stored in separate compartments of the dispenser, at least one of the substances including a silicone. Additionally, the first substance contains an alpha-hydroxy aldehyde such as dihydroxyacetone and the second substance contains at least one amino acid.

Self-tanner cosmetic compositions

The present invention relates to a novel nail polish composition to be dispersed by way of a pen having a substantially non-bristle brush tip; said composition having a low viscosity, i.e. not greater than about 200 cps and comprising a nitrocellulose film former, a relatively high pigment concentration, and an amount of a suitable copolymer of hydrophobic and hydrophilic monomers to aid in preventing said pigment form separating in the tip of the pen.
