The present disclosure is directed to examples of modular data centers configured to provide cooling to liquid-cooled electronics equipment stored within the modular data centers. In one aspect, a modular data center can be configured to provide cooling without requiring the use of mechanical refrigeration (e.g. vapor-compression or absorption refrigeration), through the use of a dry cooler in combination with an optional evaporative cooler.

A mount for an antenna includes: first and second generally C-shaped arms, each with upper and lower free ends; equipment face mounting brackets mounted on the first and second arms; and lower and upper plates mounted to a post. The upper free ends of the first and second arms are pivotally mounted to the upper plate, and the lower free ends of the first and second arms are pivotally mounted to the lower plate, such that the first and second arms are movable between retracted and extended positions. The first and second arms are fixed in the extended position relative to the upper and lower plate via fasteners inserted through holes in the upper and lower free ends of the arms and in the upper plate, the pivotal mounts and the holes defining a desired angle between the first and second arms in the extended position.

An antenna mount includes first and second tower mounting brackets. A first frame has first and second portions attached to the first and second tower mounting brackets, respectively. A second frame has third and fourth portions attached to the first and second tower mounting brackets, respectively. First and second equipment brackets are attached to the first frame, and third and fourth equipment brackets are attached to the second frame. Optionally, the first and second frames may each be formed as a one-piece continuous bent tube. Optionally, the first portion and the third portion are located side-by-side and clamped to the first tower bracket by a same first clamp, and the second portion and the fourth portion are located side-by-side and clamped to the second tower bracket by a same second clamp. Optionally, each equipment bracket has a frame face and an equipment face, wherein the frame face is orthogonal to the equipment face and extends in a direction which intersects a plane containing the equipment face at an angle of approximately 10 to 80 degrees.

A communications cabinet includes a housing defining a location for mounting communications equipment, the housing having a wall formed of a first material with a first penetration resistance, a vent opening in the wall, and a door. At least one plate of material having a second penetration resistance greater than or about equal to the first penetration resistance is mounted between the vent opening and the location for mounting the communications equipment, and the plate is positioned to stop projectiles larger than a given size from traveling in a straight line from the at least one vent opening to the location for mounting communication equipment while leaving an airflow path from the vent opening to the location for mounting the communications equipment that passes around at least one edge of the plate of material through a gap between the at least one plate and the wall.

Communications cabinet with projectile resistant vents

An outdoor equipment cabinet includes a housing with an equipment compartment therein. An intake air vent and an exit air vent are formed in the housing. A fan is mounted within the housing for pulling air into the intake air vent, moving an air stream through the equipment compartment, and pushing air out of the exit air vent. A membrane is disposed adjacent the intake air vent. The membrane allows air to pass therethrough, but resists the passage of water and contaminants therethrough. In some embodiments, a baffling plate is disposed to direct the air stream within the equipment compartment, and/or the fan speed is controlled by a temperature sensor, and/or a clogging of the membrane is monitored and reported, and/or the intake air vent is located in a first door and the exit air vent is located in a second door of the cabinet.
