Systems and methods for self-cleaning an extraction cleaner are provided. The extraction cleaner includes a suction nozzle defining a suction pathway, a fluid distributor configured to dispense cleaning fluid to a surface to be cleaned, and a nozzle flushing manifold configured to spray cleaning fluid into the suction pathway of the suction nozzle.

Self-cleaning system and method for extraction cleaners

A floor cleaning apparatus comprising a housing, a motorized agitation system, and at least one removable pad alignment jig. The motorized agitation system comprising a plurality of rotatable pad holders provided on the housing, a plurality of cleaning pads, and at least one drive motor operably coupled with the plurality of rotatable pad holders. One of plurality of cleaning pads being provided on each of the plurality of rotatable pad holders for rotation thereof.

A cyclone module for a vacuum cleaner includes a primary separator, a bulk collection chamber, at least one secondary separator, and a fines collection chamber. First and second doors are provided for closing debris outlets at the bottom ends of the bulk and fines collection chambers, respectively. Systems and method for self-cleaning extraction cleaners, including upright or robot extraction cleaner are provided. In one system, a tray can be provided for docking the extraction cleaner during the self-cleaning mode. The tray may include one or more sprayers for spraying a cleaning fluid toward an agitator of the extraction cleaner. In another system, a nozzle flushing manifold mounted on the nozzle assembly of the extraction cleaner includes a plurality of distributor outlets configured to spray cleaning fluid into the suction pathway.

A steam cleaning apparatus includes a cleaning head, a handle operably coupled with the cleaning head, a supply tank, a steam generator in fluid communication with the supply tank, and a steam outlet in fluid communication with the steam generator. A diverter is provided in a steam distribution path between the steam generator and the steam outlet and is configured to selectively divert steam away from the steam outlet.

A surface cleaning apparatus, such as a steam mop, includes a steam delivery system having a steam delivery pathway. A fragrance dispenser for receiving a fragrant material is provided on the apparatus, and a portion of the steam delivery pathway is in heat exchange relationship with the fragrance dispenser to heat the fragrant material in the fragrance dispenser by heat transfer from the steam in the pathway. Fragrance is dispensed from apparatus via heat transfer utilizing the steam pathway as a thermal radiation source.

Surface cleaning apparatus

A steam mop with an upright handle assembly pivotally mounted to a foot includes a fluid distribution system. The fluid distribution system includes a steam generator, a fluid distributor in the foot that applies steam to a floor surface and an auxiliary hose that applies steam to above-floor surfaces.
