Disclosed are polymer nanoparticle compositions comprising a film comprising an at least partially electrically conductive oligomer, polymer, or copolymer, and at least one nanoparticle at least partially disposed therein, wherein the at least partially electrically conductive oligomer, polymer, or copolymer is in electrical communication with the nanoparticle. Also disclosed are methods of making and using the polymer nanoparticle compositions.

Polymer-nanoparticle compositions and methods of making and using same

The present invention involves chemical compounds particularly useful for the preparation of thin films or layers of group 3/group 5 materials by MOCVD and other techniques. Such compounds may be represented as having the formulas [M(ER'R').sub.3 ].sub.n or [RM(ER'R').sub.2 ].sub.n or [R.sub.2 M(ER'R')].sub.n wherein M is aluminum, gallium or indium; E is phosphorus, arsenic or antimony; R, R', and R' are one or more of hydrogen, alkyl, aryl, alkyl-substituted aryl, cyclic alkyl, halide or other anionic group; and n is between about 1 and about 6.

Mononuclear and multinuclear phosphido, arsenido, and stibido complexes

The present invention involves the use of organocalcium precursors for the chemical vapor deposition of thin CaF.sub.2 films under exceptionally mild conditions. This method is based on utilizing an organocalcium compound and a source of fluorine in a chemical vapor deposition reaction to form CaF.sub.2.
