A deflector may be configured to reduce entry of at least one of dust or fluid into an enclosure configured to enclose in an interior thereof a plurality of optical communication connections. The deflector may include a first leg defining a first intersection edge and a first remote edge. The first leg may define a first hole adjacent the first end of the first leg and a second hole adjacent the second end of the first leg. The deflector may also include a second leg defining a second intersection edge and a second remote edge. The first intersection edge and the second intersection edge may be coupled to one another to define a deflector angle. The first hole may be configured to receive a first mounting stud associated with the enclosure, and the second hole may be configured to receive a second mounting stud associated with the enclosure.

Deflector and method for reducing entry of dust and/or fluid into an enclosure

A pre-mounted fiber optic distribution cabinet assembly is disclosed. The pre-mounted fiber optic distribution cabinet assembly includes a fiber optic distribution cabinet with an enclosure having an interior configured to house fiber optic components. The fiber optic distribution cabinet is sealed to protect against the ingress of solid foreign objects and liquids into the interior. A frame attaches to the exterior of the enclosure so that the fiber optic distribution cabinet is mounted in the frame when shipped to an installation location. The fiber optic distribution cabinet is configured to be mounted at the installation location via the frame. A stabilizer attached to the fiber optic distribution cabinet provides balancing support to the fiber optic distribution cabinet to maintain the fiber optic distribution cabinet in a generally upright orientation with the frame attached to the fiber optic distribution cabinet.

A fiber optic terminal includes an enclosure defining an interior space having a plurality module holders and at least one module removably positioned in one of the plurality of module holders. Each removable module may include at least one input adapter and a plurality of output adapters. Each removable module may also include one or more splitters, cable storage components, pass-through components, or parking components. The fiber optic module may also include first and second arms extending from the front side of the body and a handle coupled to the first and second arms. The handle may be rotatable between a closed position and an open position, and may also be removable from the first and second arms when the handle is in the open position.

Telecommunications terminal with removable modules

A telecommunications closure includes a base, a cover coupled to the base, and a first interior volume defined between the cover and the base. The cover includes a compartment having an opening and defining a second interior volume. The telecommunications closure also includes a flexible telecommunications line having a first end located within the first interior volume and a second end located outside of the first interior volume. The second end of the telecommunications line has a connector for coupling to other telecommunications lines. A portion of the flexible telecommunications line passes through the opening of the compartment. The telecommunications closure also includes at least one sealing member positioned in the second interior volume of the compartment to seal the flexible telecommunications line in the opening.

Dust caps, fiber optic connectors, fiber optic splitter modules and fiber optic connector systems including interlocking aligning features for fiber optic connector parking in fiber distribution hub networks are disclosed. According to one embodiment, a dust cap for mounting upon a ferrule of a fiber optic connector includes a sleeve extending lengthwise between opposed first and second ends. The sleeve defines a lengthwise extending bore that opens through the first end for receiving at least a portion of the ferrule. The dust cap further includes an aligning feature at the second end of the sleeve. The aligning feature includes a neck portion and an interlocking portion such that the interlocking portion has a width that is greater than a width of the neck portion. The aligning feature is configured to slidably engage with a slot of a parking clip.
