The invention relates to a heat exchanger comprising a casing () inside which is housed, and fastened by brazing, a heat exchange assembly () comprising a stack of heat exchange plates, each plate () having at least one edge () for brazing to the casing (). The heat exchanger is characterized by the fact that it includes means, called unfastening means (), designed to prevent the casing from being brazed to at least a portion of the edge () of at least one end plate (E) of the stack (). By virtue of the invention, the heat exchanger is more flexible and absorbs thermal stresses better.

The invention relates to a cooling radiator for a vehicle, in particular a motor vehicle, comprising a bundle allowing the exchange of heat between a first fluid and a second fluid. The bundle includes at least one row of parallel tubes () through which the first fluid flows, said tubes being flat and spaced apart from one another by a pitch, known as the tube pitch, in a first direction. In addition, the tubes () are provided with corrugations () designed to disrupt the flow of the first fluid. The tube pitch is between 5 and 8 mm.

A heat exchanger exchanges heat between first and second fluids. The heat exchanger includes a heat exchange core which includes first circulation channels of the first fluid and second circulation channels of the second fluid. The heat exchanger includes an inlet collector box for the first fluid and an outlet collector box for the first fluid, into which the ends of said first channels open out. The heat exchanger includes an inlet connection piece for the second fluid and an outlet connection piece for the second fluid. The inlet and outlet collector boxes for the first fluid are separated by a deflector. The heat exchanger includes an intermediate collector box communicating with the first channels to create a U-circulation of the first fluid in said first channels. The heat exchanger includes an intermediate compartment communicating with the second channels for a U-circulation of the second fluid in the second channels.

The invention relates to a collector plate () for a heat exchanger comprising a web () equipped with openings for the passage of tubes of the heat exchanger and a groove (), known as a receiving groove, to accept a header tank cover, able to accept a gasket () and part of the cover and having a base () and two flanges, respectively an inner flange () and an outer flange () which are connected to the base (). The inner flange () is connected to the web () and is subdivided into at least two disjointed portions, the two disjointed portions are separated by at least one recess (), and the recess () between the two disjointed portions of the inner flange () is at least in the region of a site of the collector plate () that is intended to accept a bent part of the gasket (). The present invention relates to the field of automotive heat exchangers, and, in particular, to heat exchanger tanks with headers. This invention eliminates the need for use of an inner flange on the header using a collar that also acts as a rib, thereby providing a compact foot plus header tank arrangement with lower stress on the gasket mating surface of the header and tank. The present invention also provides a method for providing improved headering means for automotive heat exchangers with plastic tanks and headers.
