A system and method for identifying health data associated with a health activity and processing the health data based on protected health information control for secure viewing and communication are provided. The method includes: detecting, by one or more processors, a health activity from a hardware device accessed by a user; identifying, by the one or more processors, health data associated with the health activity; identifying, by the one or more processors, a task to be performed based on the health activity; determining, by the one or more processors, whether the user is an authorized user based on a protected health information control unit; and responsive to the user being authorized, performing the task using the health data for the authorized user.

Customer health activity based system for secure communication and presentation of health information

The form for a concrete footing () is a mold for receiving concrete for footings on construction projects. The form has a housing (), and a plurality of horizontal support members () that extend across the hollow interior of the housing. The form may be manufactured from plastic, cardboard, concrete or other materials. Vertical tubes () extend from the top and bottom and are hollow to allow for in situ soil sampling after the footing has been set in the excavation.

Apparatus (10) for performing ultrasonic flaw testing of a material (M) or assembly. A pulser (28) generates an electrical pulse having defined characteristics. A transducer (12) converts the signal to an ultrasonic pulse, propagates the pulse through the material or assembly, receives an echo the characteristics of which include reflections off flaws or discontinuities in the material or assembly, and converts the echo into an electrical reply signal. The transducer is selectable from among a number of transducers. A processor (32) processes the reply signal to produce a visual display representing the amplitude of the reply signal for a range of propagation times (distances) into the material. A visual display (16) displays the processed electrical signal. A correlation module (42) generates a gate signal which is visually displayed (at 38) with the processed electrical signal. The gate signal corresponds to a maximum amplitude value which represents the maximum flaw size allowable for the test. If the displayed amplitude of the processed electrical signal exceeds the maximum amplitude value, the material or assembly fails the test. The correlation module emulates a series of DGS curves for the transducer used during the test. This is done to take into account test parameters related to the transducer and the material, so after an initial calibration of the apparatus is performed using a selected transducer and a reference reflector, valid test results are obtained with the transducer regardless of the distance of the reflector.

Flaw detector incorporating DGS

Test apparatus (10) performs non-destructive testing of an object (O) to determine if it has flaws or defects. An ultrasonic wave (W) is generated and directed at the object. A return wave (R) reflected by the object is received and analyzed to determine if a flaw or defect. The return wave is converted to digital data which is stored for purposes of later analysis. For this purpose, digital signals containing the data are routed over a quiet bus (24). Digital signals are routed over the bus prior to generation of an ultrasonic wave to establish test parameters. Digital noise may occur during the transmission. A controller (22) controls routing of digital signals over the bus. The controller inhibits the flow of digital signals over the bus during that portion of an operational cycle of the apparatus during which the ultrasonic waves are produced and return waves evaluated. The controller allows transmission of digital signals over the bus at other times. As a result, the ultrasonic portion of the apparatus is effectively isolated from the bus so any digital noise thereon cannot effect the ultrasonic portion of the apparatus and the test results produced thereby.
