A roll towel dispenser is operative to deliver and sever sheets of web from a roll of towel. The dispenser comprises a housing defining a compartment in which the roll of towel is maintained. A drive roller is supported by a frame attached to the housing. Cutting means interconnected with the drive roller operate to sever a sheet of web from the roll of material in predetermined lengths. First and second guide rollers, each supported by the frame, form respective nips with the drive roller. The drive roller is driven by the action of a user pulling on a tail of the roll, which passes through the nips and extends from the housing. A plurality of guide clips, each attached to the guide rollers at aligned annular grooves defined therein, encircle a peripheral segment of the drive roller. The guide clips function to bias the first and second guide rollers toward the drive roller and assist in threading the roll towel through the nips.

A system and method for collecting data on individual and aggregate use of toilet tissue or other types of rolled absorbent paper in a public washroom includes a sensing system for sensing one or more characteristics of paper use at a particular dispensing location, and a recording system for receiving and recording data from said sensing system, whereby paper use at the dispensing location can be monitored and studied. The system further analyzes the data to determine such things as the total amount of paper used, the duration of time over which paper is used, the number of discrete pulls on the paper taken by a user and the amount of paper taken by a user per discrete pull.

A centerflow dispenser for dispensing saturated wipers is disclosed which includes a dispensing nozzle affixed to the container of wet wipes. The nozzle has included therewith a rotatable dispensing disk through which the rolled web is dispensed. The rotatable disk has a dispensing orifice therethrough which includes a node and a plurality of contiguous appendages such that the disk will rotate to the path of least resistance as the saturated wipers are drawn through the dispensing orifice regardless of the direction of extraction of the web through the orifice. One or more drain holes are provided through the dispensing disk to allow liquid squeezed from the wiper as it is drawn through the dispensing orifice to pass back into the container. The nozzle includes a funneled or frusto-conical section which collects any liquid squeezed or which may drip from the wiper as it is extracted from the container to thereby direct such liquid toward the drain holes in dispensing disk. A cap is provided which sealingly engages the nozzle to limit vapor emissions from the container when the cap is in the closed position.

Disclosed is a theft deterring countertop mounted fluid dispensing system for dispensing liquid soap using a liquid soap dispenser which can be disposable. The system includes a base unit or module adapted to be permanently affixed to a countertop. The base unit includes a locking mechanism and at least one lug orifice. The base unit is used in conjunction with the fluid dispensing unit or module which includes a bottle for storing the liquid soap and a lug extending from the bottle, The lug is receivable in the lug orifice of the base unit and releasably engaged by the locking mechanism therein. A key or series of movements which are not readily obvious to a casual user of the product are required in order to remove the fluid dispensing unit from the base unit.

Secured disposable liquid soap dispenser

A tissue dispenser for dispensing rolls of sanitary tissue wound on a core having a main housing having a rear wall which is adapted to be mounted to a vertical surface. A spindle projects into the main housing substantially perpendicularly from the rear wall to support a roll of tissue within the main housing. A door is pivotally mounted to the front of the main housing such that the roll of tissue can be substantially enclosed therein with an exit port at the base of the dispenser through which the tissue is dispensed. The door includes a knob housing in which a rotatable knob resides. The rotatable knob is spring biased such that it normally resides in a position away from the roll of tissue. Extending from the knob are teeth or cogs. When the tail of tissue is not presented through the exit port of the dispenser, a user can retrieve the tail by depressing the knob against the biasing of the spring such that the teeth or cogs engage the roll of tissue and/or the spindle. By rotating the knob in a depressed position, the roll of tissue also rotated causing tissue to unwind from the roll and descend through the exit port.

A retrofit folded towel dispensing module for use with a wall mounted, folded towel dispenser designed to dispense a folded towel having a predetermined footprint, the folded towel dispensing module enabling the dispenser to dispense folded towels having a different footprint. The module has a frame including a top member, a pair of extensible side members attached to the top member, and a dispensing platform having a dispensing orifice therethrough. The dispensing platform is pivotally attached to the extensible side members. The frame supports a stack of folded towels within the wall mounted, folded towel dispenser. The extensible side members allow the frame to be vertically adjustable within the wall mounted, folded towel dispenser to accommodate differing stack heights of a plurality of different wall mounted, folded towel dispensers.

A cabinet for dispensing a sheet of paper from a stack of paper sheets in the cabinet. Means are provided in the cabinet for restricting the length of the stack of paper that can be placed in the cabinet when the cabinet is open. The restricting means is movable to a pressure relieving position when the cabinet is closed.

A multiple roll towel dispenser. The dispenser cabinet has a pair of feed rollers forming a feed roll nip, means for driving one of the feed rollers to dispense web from the cabinet, means in the cabinet for supporting a first roll of web material with its web extended between the feed roll nip, and means for supporting a second roll of web material with its web extended adjacent to the feed roll nip. The dispenser also includes means, contacting the edge of the first roll, having a first position for sensing the diameter of the first roll; means, connected to the sensing means, for biasing the sensing means against the edge of the first roll; biased transfer means for introducing the extended web of the second roll into the feed roll nip; and stop means, connected to the sensing means, the stop means being located to resist motion of the transfer means at a ready position when the edge of the first roll resists movement of the sensing means. When the edge of the first roll no longer resists movement of the sensing means, the sensing means and connected stop means moves to a second position which allows the biased transfer means to move to a transfer position where the extended web of the second roll is introduced into the feed roll nip.
