An undercut anchor having an at least partially threaded rod portion having an outer thread diameter D. The anchor having an expansion feature coupled to the rod portion and an expansion sleeve having an outer diameter D, an inner diameter Dand a wall thickness T. Furthermore, the expansion sleeve has a plurality of circumferentially distributed fingers which are configured to flex outwards when a ramp portion of length Lof each of the respective fingers is forced against the expansion feature during installation of the undercut anchor. The fingers each having a length Land a distance therebetween of W.

Undercut anchor

A cast-in-place anchor assembly is disclosed for suspending objects below a metal deck. The assembly includes an anchor body and an anchor support. The anchor body includes a threaded opening. The anchor support includes a central member which, in use, extends from a first upper side of the metal deck to a second lower side of the metal deck. The central member further includes a connector. The central member also includes a biasing portion which cantilevers radially outward. The central member further includes a stopping member sized to be larger than a deck opening. An end of the anchor body is connected to a connector to conceal the threaded opening from poured concrete. The stop member flexes to pass through the opening in the metal deck and the stop member and the biasing member flexingly bias the anchor support into position relative to the metal decking.

Cast-in place anchor assembly

A swivel hanger system includes an anchor member with an anchor head disposed at an end of the anchor member and an elongated body, where at least a portion of the elongated body is configured to be inserted into a support member when the system is connected with the support member. The system also includes a swivel member with an open end extending to a hollow interior of the swivel member, where the open end is configured to rotatably couple with the anchor head such that the anchor head is located within the hollow interior and the elongated body extends through the swivel member open end. The system further includes a stop structure to limit an insertion distance at which the anchor member is inserted into the support member.

Swivel hanger system

A spad setting tool includes a housing portion including a spad setting assembly receiver and a trigger. A spad setting assembly is operatively coupled to the housing at the spad setting assembly receiver. The spad setting assembly includes a spad receiving member having a spad receiving zone, and a spad retaining element. The spad retaining element is configured and disposed to retain a spad in the spad receiving zone regardless of an orientation of the spad setting assembly.

A retainer for a drop-in anchor includes a durable, moisture resistant member insertable into a sleeve of a drop-in anchor and configured to be retained in the sleeve by one or more threads disposed in the sleeve to prevent inadvertent removal of a plug from the sleeve. A drop-in anchor assembly includes a tubular sleeve having a first end including one or more internal threads, and an expandable second end. A plug is insertable in the sleeve such that when the plug is driven into an installed position in the sleeve the second end expands. A retainer formed of a durable moisture-resistant material is insertable in the sleeve behind the plug, and is configured to be retained in the sleeve by the one or more threads and prevent inadvertent removal of the plug from the sleeve.

Drop-in anchor

A washer for a fastener system includes a washer body and a through opening in the washer body configured to allow passage of a fastener tip therethrough. A retention feature is operably connected to the washer body and configured to retain the washer to an inner surface of a setting tool barrel. A method for securing a fastener to a workpiece includes retaining a washer to an inner surface of a barrel of a setting tool and discharging a fastener from the setting tool. A tip of the fastener extends through a through opening in the washer into the workpiece. A head of the fastener is urged into contact with the washer thereby releasing the washer from the setting tool.

Washer

A drop-in anchor system includes a drop-in anchor having a tubular sleeve with a first end and an expandable second end. The sleeve tapers in inner diameter from the first end to the second end at a sleeve taper angle. The drop-in anchor includes a plug insertable in the sleeve such that when the plug is driven into an installed position in the sleeve the second end expands. The plug tapers at a plug taper angle from a head end to a tip end and a difference between the sleeve taper angle and the plug taper angle is about one degree or more. The system includes an installation tool configured to form a hole in a workpiece into which the drop-in anchor is insertable and to drive the plug into the installed position in the sleeve.

A pin fastener includes a body having a first end that extends to a second end through an intermediate portion. The intermediate portion includes a first substantially constant diameter section that extends from the first end toward the second end, a first tapered section that extends from the first substantially constant diameter section, a second substantially constant diameter section that extends from the first tapered section, and a second tapered section that extends from the second substantially constant diameter portion to the second end. The pin fastener further includes a knurled section formed in the second substantially constant diameter portion.

A wall anchor system includes an anchor member installable into a hollow wall. The anchor member includes a body having a first end that extends to a second end through an intermediate portion. The body includes an internal passage having a fastener retaining feature provided adjacent the first end. A fastener member is operatively engageable with the anchor member.
