A display apparatus comprising an evacuated envelope having an interior surface and an exterior surface is disclosed. The envelope includes a faceplate having a luminescent screen on the interior surface thereof. An electron gun is disposed within a neck of the envelope for generating at least one electron beam that is directed toward the luminescent screen. A funnel connects the neck of the envelope with the faceplate. A deflection yoke is disposed around the envelope at the junction of the neck and the funnel. The yoke is attached to the envelope with an adhesive. A resistive primer coating is disposed on the envelope and forms a barrier between the yoke adhesive and the envelope. The resistive primer coating is formed from an aqueous formulation comprising a copolymer of chloroprene and methacrylic acid, a conductive filler material and at least one cross-linking agent.

Resistive primer coating for a display apparatus

A denture adhesive base composition consisting essentially of polyvinyl pyrrolidone and ethylene oxide polymer. A denture adhesive composition including this base composition is also provided with other optional adhesive components. Also is provided a method for formulating a novel denture adhesive base composition consisting essentially of polyvinyl pyrrolidone and ethylene oxide polymer.

Denture adhesive compositions

A superabsorbent acrylic polymer is used to impart desensitizing properties to an oral composition for the treatment of hypersensitive teeth. The mouth feel of the composition is improved by incorporating therein a low molecular weight polyacrylic acid and a divalent salt such as zinc sulfate.

Polymeric desensitizing compositions

The present invention comprises a concentrated solid or semi-solid disinfectant or sterilant composition for use in an aqueous disinfecting or sterilizing solution, comprising an oxidant and a protected glutaraldehyde such as a glutaraldehyde bisulfite addition compound (GBS): ##STR1## or a glutaraldehyde dioxime compound (GDO): ##STR2## The present invention further provides a method for disinfecting or sterilizing a surface or apparatus comprising the steps of mixing a concentrated solid or semi-solid glutaraldehyde sterilant composition comprising an oxidizing compound and a protected sterilant with water to form a solution and bringing the solution into contact with the surface or apparatus.
