The invention relates to a hydraulic mechanism comprising: a cam; a cylinder block; cylinders formed in the cylinder block; pistons slidably mounted in the cylinders; thrust rollers for the pistons acting on the cam and axially defined by two transverse faces; two wedging parts for each roller, each wedging part being disposed in a recess between the end face of the roller and the inside face of the cylinder, thereby holding the roller in position, one of the wedging parts extending to the bottom portion of the recess and including a groove parallel to the axis of the piston, and a projection that is fixed relative to the cylinder being received in the groove. According to the invention, a hole formed in the cylinder block opens out into its peripheral face and a generally U-shaped part having two branches is mounted on the cylinder block by inserting a first branch thereof in the hole and by fixing the first branch relative to the cylinder block, its second branch being inserted in the groove and constituting said projection, the web of the U-shape overlying the peripheral face. An application of the invention lies in making a hydraulic motor that is reliable and that is of reduced manufacturing cost.

A mechanism casing for a hydraulic motor comprises a casing body having a face for application of a lid. The lid is applied tightly on the casing body face and fastened to the casing body by screws via screwheads thereof tightened against an outer face of the lid. The screws pass through the lid via screw passages with circumferential clearance between the screws and screw passages. An O-ring is interposed between the casing body and the lid. At least one of the screw passages are conduit screw passages which open out within a perimeter defined by the O-ring. The conduit screw passages open out into cavities formed in one of either the casing body or the lid, and through which cavities the conduit screw passages permanently communicate with the enclosure defined by the casing. When the screwheads are in an untightened position with respect to the outer face of the lid, fluid communication is effected between said enclosure and the outside of the mechanism casing by way of fluid conduits, which comprise one of the cavities and one of the conduit screw passages.

The invention relates to a fluid engine constituted by cylinders divided into two groups, by a valve bank which comprises two enclosures connected selectively to a source of fluid and to a reservoir, and connecting each cylinder of a first group, with the said enclosures, successively, and by means for selecting the speed of the engine, which means comprise a movable member adapted to occupy two positions which, in a first position, creates a communication between the cylinder of the second group and the enclosures, successively, and in a second position, isolate said cylinders from one of the enclosures. Said engine comprises a shuttle valve which, when the movable member is in its second position, connects the cylinders of the second group to that of the two enclosures which contains the fluid under the lowest pressure. The invention finds an application in the production of a mechanically reliable reversible engine.
