A machine () for dispensing a beverage () includes: a beverage outlet () that is located above a dispensing area (); a machine body or frame () having a first connecting part () and bearing the beverage outlet (); and a recipient support () having a second connecting part () and a support member () held by the second connecting part (). The second connecting part () is disconnectably connectable to the first connecting part () so that the support member () extends into the dispensing area () to support a beverage user-recipient () under the beverage outlet (). The first connecting part () and the second connecting part () have a connection member and a connection receiver arrangement for disconnectably connecting the parts () such that: the first connecting part forms a connection member and the second connecting part forms a connection receiver; and/or the first connecting part () forms a connection receiver and the second connecting part () forms a connection member. The connection member is inserted in the connection receiver when the first and second connecting parts () are connected. The connection member is removed from the connection receiver along a removal direction (') when the first and second connecting parts () are disconnected. The removal direction (′) has an upwardly directed vertical component (″) when such machine () is in position to dispense the beverage ().

Easily insertable cup support

A capsule beverage machine () has: a passage () for evacuating used capsules (); a capsule collector () having a bottom () and sidewalls (') delimiting a cavity () with a cavity entry opening () and a cavity volume for storing the used capsules (); and a seat () into which the evacuation passage () leads, the collector () having a collection position in which the collector () is removably located in the seat () for collecting capsules () delivered via the passage () and the entry opening (). The seat () and the collector () are configured to adjust the cavity volume of the cavity () so that the cavity volume is smaller when the collector () is located in the seat and larger at removal of the collector () from the seat. The sidewalls (&#x2032;) include at least one sidewall (&#x2032;) that is movably mounted in the collector (). The seat () and/or the movable sidewall (&#x2032;) has an interacting seat member (). The member () protrudes from the movable sidewall (&#x2032;) towards a side () of the seat () or from the side () of the seat () towards the movable sidewall (&#x2032;). When the collector () is in its collection position, the member () is urged against the side () of the seat () or against the movable sidewall (&#x2032;), whereby the movable sidewall (&#x2032;) is displaced towards an inside (&#x2032;) of the cavity (). The movable sidewall (&#x2032;) is allowed to move towards an outside (&#x2032;) of the cavity () when the movable sidewall (&#x2032;) is withdrawn from the seat ().

Used capsule receptacle for beverage machines

A capsule processing machine () for preparing a beverage from a capsule () having a body () containing an ingredient. The machine () has a holder () with a cavity () having an upwardly oriented mouth () and a cover () cooperating with the holder (). The cover () and the holder () are relatively movable along a movement path () from: an open position for inserting the capsule () inbetween the holder () and cover () into the cavity () and/or for removing the capsule () therefrom; to a closed position for extracting the capsule () in the cavity (). The machine () includes a capsule transfer device () having a capsule guide () for guiding the capsule () from the holder () to a used-capsule evacuation area (). The capsule guide () extends along an evacuation direction (') and is configured to seize the capsule () and hold the capsule () above the holder () and to guide the capsule () towards the evacuation area () along the evacuation direction (&#x2032;). The movement path () and the evacuation direction (&#x2032;) are at an angle (&#x3b1;) favouring a movement of the capsule () under the effect of gravity along the capsule guide () towards the evacuation area (). The capsule guide () is tillable during the relative movement of the holder () and the cover () from the closed position to the open position to reduce the angle (&#x3b1;) so as to increase the effect of gravity for moving the capsule ().
