A circuit for feeding at least one fluid to an internal-combustion engine, notably of Diesel type, includes a circuit () for supercharging air to the engine intake, including a supercharging pipe (), a supercharging device () with a compression stage () and a compressed air cooling radiator (), as well as a circuit () for recirculating the exhaust gas to the engine intake, including an exhaust gas recirculation pipe () and an exhaust gas cooler (). The feed circuit includes a connecting pipe () allowing to connect, upstream from cooler (), air supercharging circuit () and exhaust gas recirculation circuit ().

The present invention relates to a method of controlling the intake of an internal-combustion engine comprising at least two groups () of at least one cylinder (C-C) wherein a feed is admitted for operation of said engine, and an exhaust line () comprising at least one exhaust gas depollution means (). According to the invention, the method consists, while the engine runs at low speeds and/or at low torques, in evaluating the total feed to be admitted into the cylinders to operate the engine, in admitting a greater proportion of the total feed into one () of the groups of cylinders (C, C) than in the other () group of cylinders (C, C) so as to achieve an exhaust gas temperature increase allowing to speed up the rise in temperature of depollution means ().

The invention relates to a method for control of fuel injection for an internal combustion engine, in particular with direct fuel injection, comprising at least one cylinder (), one piston () running in said cylinder, with a projection () arranged in a concave bowl (), a fuel injector () and a combustion chamber (). According to the invention, during high engine loads, a first amount of fuel is injected at a piston () position of between 35 and 70&#xb0; before the top dead centre position of said piston, followed by an injection of at least one second amount of fuel, the first amount of fuel being less than the second amount and the fuel is injected into said combustion chamber by means of an injector () with a cone angle (a) less than or equal to 2Arctg CD/2F where CD is the diameter of the cylinder () and F the distance between the points of origin of the fuel jets from the injector () and the position of the piston corresponding to a crankshaft angle of 50&#xb0; with relation to the top dead centre (PMH) of the piston.

Fuel injection control method for an internal-combustion engine and engine using the same

The invention concerns an internal combustion engine, in particular with direct injection comprising at least one cylinder (), one piston () sliding in said cylinder, a combustion chamber () delimited on one side by the upper side of the piston including a concave trough () wherein is arranged a dog point () with apex angle (a) and a fuel injector () for injecting fuel at a spray angle (a) not greater than 2 Arctg CD/2f where CD is the diameter of the cylinder () and F the distance between the point of origin of the fuel jets derived from the injector and the position of the piston () corresponding to a crankshaft angle of 50&#xb0; relative to the upper dead center. A method facilitates vaporization of a fuel in a direct-injection four-stroke engine including at least one cylinder with a combustion chamber, at least one fluid intake with an intake pipe and a valve, at least one burnt gas exhaust with an exhaust pipe and a valve, a valve controller and fuel injector. The method includes, in the vicinity of the intake phase start, in opening the intake valve so as to allow the intake fluid into the combustion chamber, in opening exhaust valve so as to feed again into this chamber at least part of the burnt gas contained in exhaust pipe; prior to the end of the intake phase, in closing the exhaust valve; in the vicinity of the intake phase end, in closing the intake valve; and during this intake phase, in carrying out at least one fuel injection into the combustion chamber.
