A heating device comprises first and second electrodes attached to a heating plate comprising a plurality of branches each having a proximal end turned from a first longitudinal side of the heating plate and a distal end turned from a second longitudinal side of the heating plate. The branches are separated by slits each opening to at least one longitudinal end. The proximal end and/or distal end of each branch is connected to the proximal end and/or distal end of an adjacent branch. The electrodes are connected to the proximal ends of a first intermediate branch of the intermediate branches and a second intermediate branch of the intermediate branches respectively.

Heating device for an exhaust system and associated manufacturing method

An exhaust gas heating device includes a housing and a heating element arranged in the housing for heating exhaust gases flowing through the housing. The heating element comprises a first and a second connecting region. A power source for supplying electricity to the heating element, comprises a first connecting element, connected to the first connecting region of the heating element, and intended to supply the heating element () with electricity, and a second connecting element. The electrical power source comprises a third connecting element that comprises an electrical connector, electrically connecting the second connecting element to the second connecting region of the heating element.

A valve comprises a kinematic chain having a rotary driving member, a rotary driven member, and an intermediate member. The driving member has a driving contact element in flat or linear abutment on a complementary driving contact element of the intermediate member. The valve includes a valve body that inwardly defines a passage for circulation of a fluid, a drive shaft, and a bearing to guide the rotation of the drive shaft. The bearing comprises a chamber surrounding a segment of the drive shaft and a plurality of balls filling the chamber. The balls are free inside the chamber, and the chamber is completely filled with balls. The balls are in contact with the drive shaft along all or part of the segment.

A valve comprises a body having a gas inlet and outlet, a flap in the body,&#x2014;a drive shaft which is rigidly connected to the flap, an actuator having a motor shaft, and a coupling of the motor shaft and the drive shaft. A mounting for the actuator on the body comprises a side wall defining a cavity and closed in part at angular sectors facing towards the inlet and towards the outlet. The wall has openings for circulating air between the inside and the outside of the cavity. A thermally insulating partition is between the body and the actuator and has a surface area which is greater than 50% of a cross section of the wall taken in a plane which is perpendicular to the axis of the shaft, and has an opening for receiving the shaft with a gap. A plate is connected to the shaft, which is axially interposed between the partition and the actuator, and covers the gap.

A valve comprises a coupling device having a driven member bound to the drive shaft of a flap, a driving member bound to an output shaft of an actuator, and an elastic member. The driving member comprises attachments that hooks up the elastic member to the driving member in a temporary position in which the elastic member is elastically loaded. The driven member comprises at least one release member that at least partly releases the elastic member of the attachments when the coupling device is brought to an intermediate state or the elastic member, when the coupling device is in the intermediate state, may be at least partly released from the attachments. The elastic member once released, adopts a definitive use position under the effect of relaxation of the elastic load, the coupling device then adopting the operational state.
