A pyrotechnic circuit breaker includes a housing with at least one cutting chamber, at least one electrical conductor, at least one punch designed to section the at least one electrical conductor, at least one pyrotechnical actuator, and an insert moulded on the at least one electrical conductor. The housing includes a first housing part and a second housing part with at least one sealing means between the insert and one of the first housing part and/or of the second housing part in order to ensure a seal of this at least one cutting chamber.

Pyrotechnic circuit breaker

A circuit breaker includes at least one electrical conductor for connection to an electrical circuit, a housing, a die, a punch movable relative to the housing to pass from a first position to a second position, and a pyrotechnical actuator to make the punch pass from the first position to the second position when ignited. The punch passes from the first position to the second position to cut the at least one electrical conductor into at least two distinct parts, and establish between the punch and the die, at least one electrical arc between the at least two distinct parts when the circuit breaker is connected to a live electrical circuit. When the punch is in the second position, at least one passage is between the at least two distinct part guides the at least one electrical arc between the distinct parts. A punch die unit includes at least one material designed to be withdrawn by ablation by the at least one electrical arc for generating gas suitable for increasing a voltage of the at least one electrical arc.

An electrical switch includes a first conductive terminal having a first contact portion, a second conductive terminal having a second contact portion, and a moveable body moveable from a first position, in which the first and second contact portions are electrically disconnected, to a second position, in which the first and second contact portions are electrically connected. The first and second contact surfaces are cylinders parallel to respectively the first and second contact portions, such that the second contact surface freely goes through the first contact portion, the first contact surface enters in connection with the first contact portion simultaneously to the moment when the second contact surface enters in connection with the second contact portion, and at least one of the first and second surfaces and the corresponding one of the first and second contact portions are arranged so that the moveable body is maintained in the second position.

Electrical pyrotechnic switch

A glass-metal feed-through transmits an electrical signal from one face to another face that is opposite. The feed-through includes a glass plug, two metal pins passing through the plug, and a metal part surrounding the plug. The feed-through includes an electrically-conductive link between a first of the pins and the part. The link includes a brazing preform secured to the first pin and to the part.
