A vehicle seat backrest suitable for allowing the attachment of a child seat, the backrest comprising a rigid structure and an anchoring system comprising an anchor rod to permit to a coupling member belonging to the child seat to be anchored on the anchor rod via the rear face of the rigid structure. The anchoring system comprises a rigid plate comprising retainer suitable for retaining the anchor rod by abutment contact when the coupling member of the child seat exerts forces on the said anchor rod.

A seat for an automobile vehicle comprises a seat pan () and a seat back (), the seat pan () featuring a seating surface that is approximately horizontal extending from the seat back () to a forward limit (), the seating surface comprising a fixed seating surface () and a mobile front section () spanning at least part of the width of the forward limit (). The front section () can move between a raised position in which it is aligned with the fixed seating surface (), and a tilted position in which the front section () is tilted down below the fixed seating surface () forming ridge () with it that is more or less parallel with the forward limit (), this position being suitable to accommodate a seated child.

Automobile vehicle seat adaptable to accommodate a child

A seat pan of an automobile vehicle seat includes an anti-sub-marining cross member to limit the movement of a pelvis of a user towards the front of the seat, the cross member extending crosswise to a seat pan framework and being able to move towards the front while exerting pelvis retention forces during the movement of the pelvis and cross member towards the front of the seat. The seat pan includes energy dissipation means to control, from a predetermined threshold, forces transmitted by the cross member to the occupant of the seat. The ends of the cross member are connected to links that pivot on the seat pan framework about an axis passing through lower ends of said links so that the movement of the cross member towards the front is in the form of an arc of a circle, defined by the pivoting of the links towards the front, opposing the retention force exerted by the energy dissipation means which are connected to upper ends of the links and near the cross member.

Motor vehicle seat part comprising an anti-submarining crosspiece

A motor vehicle seat support includes a carrier frame on which front forks and rear forks are designed to work respectively with fastening rods that are integral with the floor of the vehicle. Each one of the front and rear forks carries a mobile catch to lock each one of the forks with the corresponding rod, and a device for operating the catches to bring the latter into an unlocked position, so as to make possible the disengagement of the fork in relation to the fastening rods. The front and rear forks are carried by two lower guide rails in contact with upper guide rails braced by a base for holding a seat.
