A method for detecting a failure of a power module, the method comprising the following operations:

Detection of a failure of a power module based on operating conditions

Examples include a variable speed drive and method for controlling such variable speed drive driving an electric motor. The variable speed drive includes an inverter and is able to detect when a specific component (IGBT or freewheeling diode) of a specific switch of the inverter crosses a predetermined voltage threshold. An example method allows determining a state of a specific component based on the detection of the crossing.

A device for transmitting an electrical parametrization signal to a drive member of a lighting module based on light-emitting diodes includes a device for transmitting the parametrization signal, while the drive member includes a device for changing the polarity of the lighting module. An active filtering system arranged for being connected between a first power supply line and a second power supply line of a DC bus, the bus being arranged for being connected to a DC voltage source located upstream, the system including a first capacitor arranged for being connected both to the first power supply line of the bus and to the second power supply line of the bus and to the terminals whereof a voltage is applied including an AC component, a switching assembly controlled by a processor for generating a compensation voltage, opposite to the AC component of the voltage at the terminals of the first capacitor, and including a first terminal connected to the first capacitor and a second terminal intended to be connected to the second power supply line.

Active filtering system

The power supply system for one or more lighting modules with light-emitting diodes comprises an electrical power source able to be connected to each lighting module via an electrical connection and a detection device to detect a connection direction of each lighting module. The detection device comprises an injection circuit to inject a setpoint current, a first comparison circuit to compute a voltage measured on the corresponding electrical connection following the injection of the setpoint with a first voltage threshold, and an inversion circuit to invert the polarity of the lighting module when the voltage measured on the corresponding electrical connection is greater than or equal to the first voltage threshold.
