Provided is a highly responsive linear motor that can be constructed by reducing the weight of a mover. In order to attain this object, the linear motor includes a secondary side in which magnets and ladder-shaped members of a magnetic material are arranged in alternate manner in a rectilinearly moving direction of the mover, the ladder-shaped members each holding one of the magnets; and a primary side that includes magnetic pole pieces arranged in close proximity to the secondary side from above and below in a direction perpendicular to the rectilinearly moving direction with a common coil wound around each of the magnetic pole pieces, the primary side including a magnetic material core interconnecting the magnetic pole pieces; wherein the ladder-shaped members of a magnetic material are formed with grooves.

Linear motor

A linear motor is capable of miniaturization of a device, sharing of effective magnetic fluxes between the magnetic poles adjacent to each other, and decreasing a magnetic attractive force acting between a mover and an armature, and a linear motor drive system. The linear motor includes a mover, formed by lining up a plurality of pieces of permanent magnets or magnetic materials while inversing a magnetization direction thereof, and an armature. First and second magnetic pole teeth are disposed in such a way as to vertically tuck the permanent magnet or the magnetic material. A magnetic material links the first magnetic pole tooth to the second magnetic pole tooth, thereby forming a path for a magnetic flux, and windings are disposed on the first magnetic pole tooth and the second magnetic pole tooth, respectively. At least two units of the armatures are lined to be linked to each other.

Linear motor and linear motor drive system

An electrical rotating machine system that can be easily maintained and can provide improved power generation efficiency. The electrical rotating machine system includes: a first electrical rotating machine having a first stator that has first stator windings, and a first rotor that has first rotor windings and is disposed on the internal diameter side of the first stator so as to have a gap between the internal diameter side of the first stator and the first rotor itself; a second electrical rotating machine having a second stator that has second stator windings, and a second rotor that has second rotor windings and is disposed on the internal diameter side of the second stator so as to have a gap between the internal diameter side of the second stator and the second rotor itself; and at least one power converter that is electrically connected to the first rotor windings and the second rotor windings, and configured to rotate when the first rotor rotates.

A rotary electric machine according to the present invention includes a stator including a stator core and stator coils, a rotor provided rotatably with a gap to the stator, a housing that stores the stator and the rotor, a fan that circulates air inside the housing through the gap in the housing, a heat exchanger that cools the air circulated by the fan, and an air guiding plate including an air guiding route formed therein for guiding the air cooled by the heat exchanger such that the cooled air flows into the gap without coming into contact with the stator coils.

The permanent magnet type electrical rotating machine has an overhung rotor support structure in which a shaft of a rotor is supported at only one end side thereof by a bearing provided on one side of a casing of the electrical rotating machine. Another end side of the rotor shaft to be a bearing support-free side is capable of being joined to an end of a shaft of a prime mover via a flange formed at an end of the shaft. The rotor shaft is configured such that, upon a state of not being coupled to the prime mover shaft, the flange on the bearing support-free side is joined to an end face of the casing through a retaining member to be prevented from moving in any of an axial, radial and circumferential directions of the rotor shaft.

And a calculated suitable value of cooling gas flow is determined according to the calculated temperature inside the rotary electric machine.
