A motor comprises a rotor made of a permanent magnet and pairs of yokes having pairs of magnetic pole parts arranged round the circumference of the rotor. The rotor is arranged to be pivotally carried by a bearing part disposed at one end of the yoke. A position detecting element which detects the magnetic pole position of the rotor is carried by the yoke. An exciting coil is wound round each pair of the yokes.

Motor

In the disclosed lens where the size of the diaphragm aperture is determined by the opening and closing movement of a plurality of blades, the movement is carried out by a stepping motor. A rotor and a stator of the motor are built into the diaphragm, and a magnet of plastic material is used as the permanent magnet for the motor rotor.

Motor-built-in photographic lens

Travelling oscillation waves are generated in a lens assembly at an oscillation element by impressing a voltage to an electro-restriction element or elements, whereupon a lens driving operation is performed by frictionally driving a moving element which is pressed in contact with the oscillation element. In the case of manual operation, an oscillation ring operating as the oscillation element is separated from a rotation ring which constitutes the moving element by a clutch device and then the rotation ring is manually rotated for effecting the lens driving operation.

A mechanical mounting for a lens system having a component axially movable to perform optical functions. Movement of the component is controlled by a motor in a form of a hollow cylindrical field magnet rotatably fitted in a hollow cylindrical field coil which is fixedly fitted on a body tube of the lens mounting. Thus, the motor is snugly assembled with members of the lens mounting.

A filter mounting mechanism capable of attachment to and detachment from an optical assembly such as the interchangeable lens assembly of a single lens reflex camera is provided with a holding member arranged to rotatably carry a filter in such a manner that the filter may be rotated from externally of the optical assembly in order to enable adjustment of the filter. The mechanism includes a device for preventing the filter from becoming loosened while in use and the arrangement further operates to facilitate use of a thin film filter such as a gelatin filter in cases where such a filter is to be used by preparation and cutting thereof into a desired size and shape.

In a diaphragm device, a progressive oscillation wave is generated at a vibrating member by electrically energizing electrostriction members while a movable member which is arranged to actuate diaphragm blades is pressed into contact with the vibrating member by means of an urging member. The movable member is then frictionally driven by the oscillation wave to drive the diaphragm.

The invention provides a photographing apparatus having a focusing system for controlling the movement of a focusing lens. The output of the signal from the focusing system is so controlled that the continuous operation of the focusing system is interrupted in response to the operation of an imaging device such as a single reflex camera, a video camera, etc.

Automatic focusing system with interrupt function

An interchangeable lens assembly comprises a phototaking lens system for imaging an object, an automatic focusing device for detecting the object distance and outputting a signal for moving the lens system to an in-focus position, and a focus adjusting member for moving the lens system along the optical axis. The automatic focusing device includes a distance detector, a motor for generating a drive force to drive the lens system in accordance with an output signal from the distance detector, and a transmission for transmitting the drive force. The focus adjusting member is connected to the lens system and to the transmission, and the lens system is moved in accordance with either the manual rotation of a manually operated portion of the focus adjusting member about the optical axis or by the drive force from the motor through the transmission.

An operating mechanism for a zoom lens assembly is constructed with an integrally molded actuating sleeve rotatably fitted on the exterior surface of a tubular body of the assembly and held against axial movement, with a zoom lens cell being slideably fitted to the inner diameter of the tubular body. A camming connection is provided between the sleeve and the cell through a longitudinally elongated slot formed in the tube. The camming connection is formed from an inwardly directed helical cam protuberance having a rectangular cross-sectional configuration molded integrally with the sleeve, a slider freely fitted in the slot affixed to the cell, a cam follower in the form of a detent roller radially outwardly extending from the slider, a reaction roller axially movably mounted in a keyway in the slider, and a spring urging the detent and the reaction rollers to engage the cam protuberance at opposite radial shoulders thereof with a clamping effect.

A lens barrel assembly consisting essentially of a first and second barrel member having helicoid screw threads therebetween which enable said barrel members to be moved axially upon relative rotation therebetween is formed in a molding process wherein one of said barrel members is utilized as a mold element in the formation of the other barrel member with the other barrel member being formed by injection molding of resin material injected into a cavity defined at least in part by the first barrel member. The lens barrel assembly is formed with the barrel members in operative juxtaposition when they are removed from the mold cavity.

A camera lens assembly adapted to be attached in operative engagement with a camera by rotative coupling therebetween including components, such as an aperture signal transmission member and a diaphragm actuating member, which may be retracted away from the camera during attachment operation, with these components being returned to a position in effective cooperative engagement with complementary control members in the camera after attachment of the lens assembly on the camera.

A system for close-up and copy photography is so designed that a zoom lens whose total barrel length remains unchanged during zooming operation is attached to a camera as the master lens with an adapter being attached to the zoom lens and with a fixed focus lens being attached to the adapter on the side opposite the side to which the zoom lens is attached. The fixed focus lens is arranged in a position reversed from the position in which it would normally be used, that is, with its object side facing the zoom lens and with its image side facing toward an object to be photographed. The adapter may have a filter mount mechanism and a securing stand attached to the adapter for holding an object to be photographed is structured to permit illumination of the object.

An interchangeable lens assembly for a camera is formed with a bayonet coupling affixed to the lens barrel with both being rotatable relative to an adapter shell. Upon attachment of the lens assembly to a camera housing, a detent pin is retracted from a fitted hole found in a radial flange of the adapter shell and the lens barrel is thereby rendered rotatable together with the bayonet coupling with reference to both the adapter shell and the camera housing while the adapter shell is held stationary relative to the camera housing during mounting and dismounting of the lens assembly.
