A horizontal shaft type rotary machine capable of simply feeding oil into thrust bearing devices. Leak oil introduction is provided in the circumferential end parts of thrust bearing devices, for introducing leak oil of lubrication oil from horizontal type slide bearing devices onto slide surfaces of the thrust bearing devices. With this configuration, the thrust baring devices can be lubricated with the use of leak oil of lubrication oil from the horizontal type slide bearing devices, and as a result, it is possible to eliminate the necessity of an oil feed system exclusively used for the thrust bearing devices, thereby it is possible to simplify the pipe line arrangement of the oil feed system and the control of oil feed quantity.

Horizontal shaft type rotary machine

The invention aims at providing a forced cooling rotary electric machine capable of bringing temperature distribution close to a designed temperature distribution and avoiding becoming a larger size, and employs a wedge formed with ventilation grooves and a wedge not formed with the ventilation grooves to regulate the flow rates of cooling gas passing through air ducts, so that the cooling gas supplied to a part of a stator core, in which temperature is low, can be caused to flow positively to a part in which the temperature is high and the temperature distribution in the axial direction of the stator core can be uniformized. As a result, the temperature distribution in the axial direction of the stator core can be brought close to a designed temperature distribution, and a forced cooling rotary electric machine that need not be made larger in size with a margin can be obtained.

Forced cooling rotary electric machine

A rotor for a rotary electrical device to be arranged to face to a stator, comprises a rotor iron core extending axially and including a plurality of slots arranged with a predetermined circumferential interval, a rotor coil contained by the slots, a coil support member of electrically insulating property arranged between parts of the rotor coil at an axial end of the rotor coil, and a retaining ring covering the coil support member and the axial end of the rotor coil, the coil support member has two fitted portions and a connecting portion connecting the fitted portions to each other to form H-shape of cross section and to form a space between the rotor coil and each of opposite sides of the connecting portion, and the coil support member further has a communicating path communicating to the spaces.

Rotary electrical device having particular coil support structure

In a rotor of a rotary-electric machine, in order to improve a cooling performance of a rotor winding on an end portion of the rotor in an axial direction, the rotor winding being held by a retaining ring of the rotor winding formed by laminating conductors in slots of a rotor iron core extending in an axial direction and having slots formed at predetermined intervals in a peripheral direction, ventilation channels through which cooling air flows are formed in the surfaces of the conductors along a longitudinal direction. The ventilation channels have air inlet holes which guide the cooling air and exhaust holes which exhaust the cooling air, the conductors are laminated to constitute the rotor winding, and the conductors include openings of the air inlet holes in bottoms of the conductors on a side opposite to a side on which the ventilation channels are formed.

Rotor of rotary-electric machine

A thrust bearing device comprising a runner portion attached to a rotational axis and having a plane perpendicular to the axial direction of the rotational axis, and a fixed portion having a sliding surface facing the plane of the runner portion, wherein the fixed portion has a plurality of oil grooves extending in radial directions formed on the sliding surface, a plurality of tapered lands formed among some of the plurality of oil grooves on the sliding surface and having a tapered plane and a plane, a plurality of flat parts formed among the remainder of the plurality of oil grooves on the sliding surface and having only a plane, and a plurality of oil supply openings formed in each of the plurality flat parts and pressurized oil is externally supplied.

A rotation machine is configured such that permanent magnets and pole shoes holding the permanent magnets at the outer diameter side of the permanent magnets are provided for a rotor, and an outer diameter size (Ra) in the axial end portion of the pole shoe is made smaller than an outer diameter size (Rb) in the axial center portion.

A electric rotating machine includes a rotor winding constituting a part of a rotor, a conductor provided in a center portion in a radial direction of a rotor body for supplying electricity to the rotor winding from the outside, a leader drawn from the conductor to an outside diameter side, and a connecting line constructed by stacking a plurality of conductor plates to electrically connect the rotor winding and the leader. The connecting line consists of a radial direction linear portion which is straight in the radial direction on the leader side, and a bending portion which branches into two routes toward opposite directions to each other in a rotor shaft direction from the radial direction linear portion and has a linear portion formed at a part of the bending portion. The linear portion of the bending portion is joined to a bottom surface of the rotor winding.

A rotating electric machine having a plurality of ventilating passages formed between a stator frame and a stator iron core and coolers which cool a coolant being provided in the plurality of the ventilating passages. A ventilating circuit in which at least a portion of the coolant which is cooled by one of the coolers is further cooled by another of the coolers, and is allowed to flow to a central portion in an axial direction of the stator iron core in a direction from an outer peripheral side to an inner peripheral side of the stator iron core at least via one ventilating passage of the plurality of ventilating passage which communicates with the central portion in the axial direction of the stator iron core.

Rotating electric machine and cooling method thereof

A rotating electric machine having a plurality of ventilating passages formed between a stator frame and a stator iron core, a cooler which cools a coolant is provided at least in one ventilating passage, communicating with a central portion of the stator iron core, of the plurality of ventilating passages, and a ventilating circuit in which the coolant cooled by the cooler is allowed to flow to the central portion of the stator iron core in a direction from an outer peripheral side to an inner peripheral side of the stator iron core via the at least one ventilating passage which communicates with the central portion of the stator iron core.

Rotating electric machine

A rotating electric machine exhibits a substantially level axial temperature rise distribution by supplying a coolant which is sufficiently cooled to a central portion of an iron core which is most distant from each of the axial ends of the iron core. A plurality of ventilating passages, which continuously extend in the peripheral direction, are provided in the axial direction between a stator frame and a stator iron core, and coolers are provided in the ventilating passages.
