An in-vehicle control device, configured to control charging of a power storage device that is installed in a vehicle, includes a processor. The processor is configured to output a first necessary charging time to a display device when a predetermined condition is satisfied while charging the power storage device. The first necessary charging time is an amount of time required for a storage proportion of the power storage device to reach a predetermined storage proportion that is lower than a full-charge proportion. The processor is configured to output a second necessary charging time to the display device when the predetermined condition is not satisfied while charging the power storage device. The second necessary charging time is an amount of time required for the storage proportion of the power storage device to reach the full-charge proportion.

In-vehicle control device

A processor of a vehicle stops charging when an actually measured charging ratio is equal to or higher than a target charging ratio in a charging phase. While the target charging ratio is higher than a charging threshold value, when the actually measured charging ratio is equal to or lower than the charging threshold value, the processor transmits to a charging apparatus, the actually measured charging ratio as a transmission charging ratio, when the actually measured charging ratio is higher than the charging threshold value and lower than the target charging ratio, the processor transmits to the charging apparatus, a value equal to or smaller than the charging threshold value as the transmission charging ratio, and when the actually measured charging ratio is equal to or higher than the target charging ratio, the processor transmits to the charging apparatus, the actually measured charging ratio as the transmission charging ratio.

Vehicle and charging system

A conversion adapter is configured to be connected between a charging cable extending from a charging station and an inlet included in a vehicle. The conversion adapter includes a cable connector configured to be connected to the charging cable, and a vehicle connector configured to be connected to the inlet. The cable connector includes: a power terminal that receives supply of a charging power from the charging station via the charging cable; and a lid and a lock device that are configured to mechanically prevent a connection between the power terminal and the charging cable. The lid and the lock device prevent the connection between the charging cable and the power terminal until the vehicle connector and the inlet are connected together, and removes prevention of the connection between the charging cable and the power terminal after the vehicle connector and the inlet are connected together.

Conversion adapter having a connection prevention mechanism

A processor included in a server acquires, by a weather information acquisition unit, weather information related to rainfall in a region where an external charging of a vehicle is performed. The processor also acquires flooding information indicative of prediction of flood damage to the region from a flooding information DB included in a storage device. If the vehicle is determined, based on the acquired weather information and flooding information, as likely to be inundated with water while the vehicle is stationary in the charging station, the processor transmits to the vehicle a stop instruction for stopping the external charging. The vehicle stops the external charging if the vehicle receives the stop instruction for stopping the external charging from the server.

Charge controller, charging system, and vehicle

An ECU included in a vehicle performs a first charging control when a minimum output voltage of a direct-current (DC) charger obtained through an information exchange process is less than or equal to a lower limit charging voltage for a power storage device, and performs a second charging control when the minimum output voltage is higher than the lower limit charging voltage of the power storage device. In the second charging control, initially, the ECU electrically connects a pre-charge circuit to a charging path from the DC charger to the power storage device, starts DC charging, and checks a voltage that is actually applied from the DC charger to the vehicle. If a voltage applied from the DC charger to the vehicle is a value corresponding to the voltage of the power storage device, the ECU permits the DC charging and performs the first charging control.

Vehicle charging system

An electrified vehicle includes a system main relay attached to an electric power line for motive power and a charging relay attached to a charging electric power line through which a portion of the electric power line for motive power positioned between the system main relay and a drive circuit and a vehicle-side connection portion connected to a station-side connection portion of a direct current charging station are connected to each other. When the vehicle-side connection portion and the station-side connection portion are disconnected from each other while an electric storage device is being charged with electric power from the direct current charging station, diagnosis about double-pole welding abnormality of the charging relay is performed after the charging relay is turned off with the system main relay being in a turned-on state and the system main relay is turned off after the diagnosis.

Electrified vehicle

A motor-driven vehicle includes a system main relay that is attached to a running electric power line connecting a power storage device to a drive circuit, a capacitor that is attached to the running electric power line between the system main relay and the drive circuit, and a charging relay that is attached to a charging electric power line connecting a vehicle-side connector to the running electric power line between the system main relay and the drive circuit. When a stand-side connector is disconnected from the vehicle-side connector while the power storage device is being charged with electric power from a direct-current charging stand, the charging relay and the system main relay are turned off, a two-pole welding abnormality of the charging relay is diagnosed using a voltage of the capacitor, and then the capacitor is discharged.
