A drive device includes a driver, a determination storage, a comparator, and at least one of a control storage and a monitor storage. The control storage stores a control pattern that includes a signal instructing a conduction state of each of loads. The driver control semiconductor switches respectively corresponding to the loads according to the control pattern. The determination storage stores a determination pattern. The monitor storage stores a monitor pattern that is a result of monitoring the conduction state of each of the loads. The comparator compares the determination pattern with a comparison pattern that is at least one of the control pattern and the monitor pattern, and determine that an abnormality of the comparison pattern has occurred in response to that the determination pattern and the comparison pattern satisfy a predetermined correspondence relationship.

Drive circuit for controlling conduction states of multiple loads

A drive device includes: a control storage unit of a current value of a control signal indicating a drive state of each of loads; a drive unit of the switches according to the current value; an acquisition unit of a current drive state of each load; a determination storage unit of a transition determination value; and a determination unit that compares a correlated drive state of each load correlated with the current value with the transition determination value, and determines that the current value is abnormal when the correlated drive state and the transition determination value satisfy a predetermined corresponding relationship.

Drive device

A drive device includes: a receiving unit of a load control signal indicative of a drive state of each load; a control storage unit of the load control signal; a drive unit of the switches according to the load control signal; an acquisition unit of a current drive state of each load at a present time, or a current vehicle state; a determination storage unit of a transition determination value; and a determination unit that compares a correlated drive state of each load correlated with the load control signal with the transition determination value, and determines that the load control signal is abnormal when the correlated drive state and the transition determination value satisfy a predetermined corresponding relationship.

Drive device and driving system

A load drive system includes a communication bus; a controller; and a driver. The controller has a CAN transceiver and a CAN controller that transmit an instruction message instructing a drive state of a solenoid of an automatic transmission via the communication bus. The driver has (i) a CAN transceiver and a CAN controller that receive the instruction message via the communication bus, and (ii) a drive circuit that drives the solenoid according to the received instruction message. The controller transmits a first periodic message in a first cycle and a second periodic message in a second cycle, respectively as the instruction message.

Load drive system

A load drive system, capable of providing certainty about instructions transmitted from a load control device to a load drive device as well as suppressing an increase of processing load, includes an ECU, a drive device, a communication bus to which the ECU and the drive device are connected, and a third signal line different from the communication bus connecting the ECU and the drive device. The ECU generates a frame including a drive instruction message, and transmits the message to the drive device via the communication bus. The drive device receives the frame via the communication bus, and extracts the drive instruction message from data of data field in the received frame. The drive device converts the drive instruction message into a load drive signal, and notifies the converted load drive signal to the ECU via the third signal line.

When a first communication line is abnormal, one of first ECUs as a master node transmits a reference signal to a second communication line. Upon receiving the reference signal, the first ECUs transmit synchronous data items. The reference signal has a higher priority than an asynchronous data item; the synchronous data items each have a higher priority than the asynchronous data item. The first ECUs performs transmissions of entire synchronous data items needed to be transmitted during one transmission cycle of the reference signal at mutual different points of time so that the asynchronous data item is permitted to be transmitted during an interval between the transmissions of the synchronous data items.
