The present invention provides a composition for a solar cell sealing film prepared by mixing an ethylene-&#x3b1;-olefin copolymer a metallocene catalyst (m-LLDPE) and another polymer as resin components, wherein the composition has the same processability as a composition containing m-LLDPE alone as a resin component and provides a solar cell sealing film having the same transparency as the composition containing m-LLDPE alone as resin component. A composition for a solar cell sealing film comprising m-LLDPE and low-density polyethylene (LDPE), wherein the weight average molecular weight of m-LLDPE (M) is 200,000 or less, the weight average molecular weight of LDPE (M) is 250,000 or less, and the mass ratio of m-LLDPE to LDPE (m-LLDPE:LDPE) is in a range of 80:20 to 30:70, and a solar cell sealing film prepared using the same.
