It is an objective of the invention to provide a Ni-based superalloy cast article exhibiting the corrosion resistance compatible or superior to the conventional ordinary precision cast articles and reducing the cost than the conventional ones while maintaining the mechanical properties compatible to the conventional ones. There is provided a Ni-based superalloy cast article including: 12.1 to 16 mass % of Cr; 4 to 16 mass % of Co; 3 to 5 mass % of Al; 2.1 to 3.3 mass % of Ti; 3.5 to 9 mass % of W; 1 to 2.4 mass % of Mo; 1.2 mass % or less of Nb; 0.005 to 0.05 mass % of B; 0.03 to 0.2 mass % of C; more than 0 mass % and 0.005 mass % or less of O; and the balance being Ni and impurities.

Ni-based superalloy cast article and Ni-based superalloy product using same

There is provided a regenerated member of a nickel-based alloy member for use in a turbine. The nickel-based alloy member is in a used condition. The regenerated member is a nickel-based alloy cast article including a &#x3b3; phase as a matrix and a &#x3b3;' phase precipitating in the &#x3b3; phase in a volume fraction of equal to or more than 30 vol % in an operational environment of the turbine. In a microstructure of the regenerated member, no recrystallized grains of the &#x3b3; phase are present. And, when a GROD value of crystal grains of the &#x3b3; phase of the used part undergone the solution/non-recrystallization heat treatment step is measured by electron back scattering diffraction analysis, the GROD value is equal to or more than 0.4&#xb0; and equal to or less than 0.6&#xb0;.

It is an objective of the invention to provide a steam turbine rotor of which a rotor shaft is made of a low-cost heat resistant ferritic steel and that can withstand high main steam temperatures of about 650&#xb0; C. An object of the present invention is to provide a Ni-based superalloy, especially for a conventional casting, having a good balance among high temperature strength, corrosion resistance and oxidation resistance, as compared to a conventional material. This invention provides an Ni-based alloy, which is particularly used for standard casting and is provided with properties such as strength at high temperatures, corrosion resistivity, and oxidation resistivity in a more balanced manner, compared with existing materials. The Ni-based alloy comprises Cr, Co, Al, Ti, Ta, W, Mo, Nb, C, B, and unavoidable impurities, with the balance consisting of Ni. A Ni-based superalloy contains 13.1 to 16.0 percent by mass of Cr, 1.0 to 6.8 percent by mass of Co, 3.0 to 3.4 percent by mass of Al, 4.6 to 5.6 percent by mass of Ti, 2.0 to 4.4 percent by mass of Ta, 3.5 to 4.9 percent by mass of W, 0.1 to 0.9 percent by mass of Mo, 0.3 to 1.4 percent by mass of Nb, 0.05 to 0.20 percent by mass of C, and 0.01 to 0.03 percent by mass of B with the remainder being nickel and inevitable impurities. In order to provide an austenitic single crystal stainless steel having preferable stress corrosion cracking resistance, strength, and irradiation induced embrittlement resistance so as to extend the life of a nuclear reactor core structure, which is used under a high radiation dose environment, a method is employed, which comprises the steps of homogeneously dispersing carbides into a parent phase of the austenitic single crystal stainless steel by a two step solution heat treatment, and subsequently effecting an ageing heat treatment after rapid cooling for precipitating fine carbides. Austenitic single crystal stainless steel having preferable stress corrosion cracking resistance, strength, and irradiation induced embrittlement resistance can be provided, and the life of nuclear reactor core structure, which is used under a high radiation dose environment, can be extended.
