In a heat exchanger, an outer diameter of a plurality of heat transfer pipes is defined as Do, a wall thickness is defined as tP, an area represented by a numerical expression of a row pitch L×a step pitch Lis defined as A, and an area represented by a numerical expression of ((Do−2×tP)/2)×π is defined as B, a relation of Do<5.5 mm, a relation of (0.2076×tP−0.1480×tP+0.0545)×Do{circumflex over ( )}(−0.0021×tP−0.0528×tP+0.0164)≤B/A≤(0.0219×tP−0.0185×tP+0.0043)×ln (Do)+(1.6950×tP+1.8455×tP+1.5416), and a relation of B/A<0.0076×tP−0.0417×tP+0.0574 are satisfied.

Heat exchanger and refrigeration cycle apparatus

In a heat exchanger, each of a plurality of heat exchange members includes: a flat pipe; and a heat transfer plate integrated with the flat pipe along a longitudinal direction of the flat pipe. A width direction of each of the flat pipes intersects with a direction in which the plurality of heat exchange members are arranged side by side. Each of the heat transfer plates includes an extending portion extending outward in the width direction of each of the flat pipes from at least one of one end of a corresponding one of the flat pipes in the width direction and another end of the corresponding one of the flat pipes in the width direction. Each of the flat pipes has one or more flat pipe bent portions, each forming a groove extending along the longitudinal direction of the flat pipes.

A heat exchanger, a heat exchanger unit, and a refrigeration cycle apparatus improve a heat exchange performance, a discharge performance, and a frosting resistance, and each include: a flat tube; a fin formed in the shape of a plate having a plate surface extending in a longitudinal direction of the fin that is perpendicular to a width direction thereof, coincides with an up/down direction, and crosses the tube axis of the flat tube; and a first water conveyance member provided below the fin. The first water conveyance member has: a first upper surface facing a lower end portion of the fin; a first ridge located at one end portion of the first upper surface; and a second ridge located at the other end portion of the first upper surface.

Heat exchanger, heat exchanger unit, and refrigeration cycle apparatus

A heat exchanger, a heat exchanger unit, and a refrigeration cycle apparatus in which frost melt water is inhibited from reaching an upper surface of a header include: heat transfer tubes arranged in parallel with each other; a fin connected to one of the heat transfer tubes; and a header connected to the heat transfer tubes and having a header end surface along a direction in which the heat transfer tubes are arranged in parallel. The fin has an edge facing the header and extends in a first direction perpendicular to the axes of the heat transfer tubes. An end portion of the fin projects in the first direction relative to the header end surface, and another end portion of the fin in the first direction is positioned closer in the first direction to the heat transfer tubes than the header end surface is.

A heat exchanger includes a plurality of fins extending along upper and lower directions, and a flat tube extending crosswise to the plurality of fins. Each of the plurality of fins has a first side edge portion and a second side edge portion, the first side edge portion and the second side edge portion extending along the upper and lower directions. The flat tube has end portions in the longitudinal axis direction of the flat tube, the end portions including a first end portion and a second end portion. The first end portion is positioned closer to the first side edge portion than the second end portion is to the first side edge portion. Each of the plurality of fins includes at least one water guide portion formed at at least one of a position between the first side edge portion and the first end portion, and a position between the second side edge portion and the second end portion, the water guide portion extending in the upper and lower directions, a lower edge portion positioned below the flat tube in the upper and lower directions, and a protruding edge portion positioned below the water guide portion and protruding downwardly relative to the lower edge portion.

A heat exchanger, a heat exchanger unit, and a refrigeration cycle apparatus are provided where heat exchange performance is improved, and drainage properties and resistance against frost formation are improved. A flat tube and a plurality of fins that are each a plate having a plate surface extending in a longitudinal direction and in a width direction orthogonal to the longitudinal direction are provided. The plate surface intersects a pipe axis of the flat tube, and the plurality of fins are arranged at an interval from one another. The plurality of fins each have a first spacer formed in the plate and maintaining the interval. The flat tube has a longitudinal axis of a section perpendicular to the pipe axis, and the longitudinal axis is inclined to the width direction by an inclination angle &#x3b8;. The first spacer has a standing surface extending in a direction intersecting the plate surface.

A heat exchanger, a heat exchanger unit, and a refrigeration cycle apparatus are provided where deterioration in drainage and ventilation properties is prevented, an air passage is not easily clogged when frost forms, and both defrosting properties and heat exchange performance are achieved. A flat tube and a plurality of fins that are each a plate having a plate surface extending in a longitudinal direction and in a width direction orthogonal to the longitudinal direction are provided. The plate surface intersects a pipe axis of the flat tube. The plurality of fins each have an insertion portion in which the flat tube is inserted, a first spacer formed at a rim of the insertion portion and maintaining the interval, and a second spacer formed at a portion of the plate other than the rim of the insertion portion and maintaining the interval.

A heat exchanger to which a fan supplies air includes a plurality of flat tubes extending in a first direction, a corrugated fin connected to the flat tubes and extending in a second direction intersecting the first direction, and a plurality of plate fins connected to at least one of a windward end and a leeward end of the corrugated fin and extending in a third direction intersecting the second direction. This configuration achieves improvement in heat exchange performance.

Heat exchanger, refrigeration cycle device, and air-conditioning apparatus

A heat exchanger includes a fin having a first through hole into which a first heat transfer tube is inserted and a second through hole into which a second heat transfer tube is inserted and including a first end portion and a second end portion, in which a virtual straight line passing through end portions on the first end portion side of the first heat transfer tube and the second heat transfer tube is a first virtual straight line, a virtual straight line passing through end portions on the second end portion side of the first heat transfer tube and the second heat transfer tube is a second virtual straight line, a region between the first end portion and the first virtual straight line is a first drainage region, a region between the second end portion and the second virtual straight line is a second drainage region, and a region enclosed by the first heat transfer tube, the second heat transfer tube, the first virtual straight line and the second virtual straight line is a water introducing region, a first groove inclined to descend toward the first drainage region and a second groove inclined to descend toward the second drainage region are formed in the water introducing region.

Heat exchanger and refrigeration cycle device

A heat exchanger according to an embodiment of the invention includes a fin extending in the gravity direction and heat transfer pipes installed so as to intersect the fin. The heat transfer pipes are arranged in the gravity direction. The fin has a water guiding area disposed above and below each of the heat transfer pipes, and a water drainage area disposed adjacent to a side of each of the heat transfer pipes. The water guiding area has water guiding structures for guiding water to the water drainage area. The water drainage area has water drainage structures for guiding water in the gravity direction.
