Disclosed herein are an organic conductive material and a conductive varnish containing it in an amount of 1 to 80 wt %. The organic conductive material comprises an oligoaniline derivative represented by the formula (1) in which quinoimine as an oxidant formed at the time of synthesis is reduced by a reducing agent and a salt is formed with an electron accepting dopant. (where Rto Rindependently denote a hydrogen atom, unsubstituted or substituted monovalent hydrocarbon group, organoxy group, or acyl group; A and B independently denote a divalent group represented by the formula (2) or (3) below; where, Rto Rindependently denote a hydrogen atom, hydroxyl group, unsubstituted or substituted monovalent hydrocarbon group, organoxy group, acyl group, or sulfonic group; and m and n independently denote a positive number equal to or larger than 1 such that m+n&#x2266;20.)

Organic conductive material and conductive varnish

A high optical density, i.e., .gtoreq.3.0, at 1 micron or less film thickness, black matrix is disclosed having improved stability and shelf life as a consequence of admixing Pigment Black 7 and organic dye or dye mixtures on a polyimide polymer vehicle.

High optical density ultra thin organic black matrix system

An organic black matrix having high resistivity (.gtoreq.10.sup.11 ohm/square), high optical density (.gtoreq.2.0) at ultra thin film thicknesses (.ltoreq.1.0 microns) for improved STN and TFT pixel display applications is made possible by combining polyimide/dye solutions and mixed metal oxide pigment dispersions at a weight/weight ratio of dye to pigment of 1:15 to 3:15. The need for low resistivity carbon black, as a replacement for sputtered chrome, is negated.

Ultra thin photolithographically imageable organic black matrix coating

A method for removing a liquid crystal alignment film from a liquid crystal cell substrate having the alignment film formed by coating a solution containing, as the main component, a polyamic acid having, as the main repeating units, a chemical structure of the following formula (1): ##STR1## wherein each of R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 is a hydrogen atom or a methyl group, R.sub.3 is a bivalent organic group constituting a diamine, and n is from 10 to 1,000, followed by baking, which method comprises irradiating said liquid crystal cell substrate with ultraviolet rays having wavelengths within a range of from 230 to 300 nm and then treating it with an aprotic highly polar organic solvent or an alkaline solvent.

Method for removing a liquid crystal alignment film

A fire-retardant polyester composition comprising a fiber-forming linear polyester having an intrinsic viscosity of at least 0.1 and a fire retardant containing phosphorus and bromine, wherein at least 70 mole % of the polyester consists of a recurring unit of the formula ##STR1## wherein n represents an integer of 2 to 6, and the fire retardant is a copolyphosphonate composed of 1 mole of a recurring unit of the formula ##STR2## wherein Y represents an isopropylidene or sulfonyl group, and R represents a phenyl or benzyl group, and 0.25 to 10 moles of a recurring unit of the formula ##STR3## wherein R represents a phenyl or benzyl group, the proportion of the fire retardant being 1 to 20 parts by weight per 100 parts by weight of the polyester.

Fire-retardant polyester compositions

A flameproof resin composition comprising the admixture of 3 to 30 wt. % of an adduct of 2,4,6-triamino-1,3,5-triazine and 2,4,6-trihydroxy-1,3,5-triazine and/or a tautomer thereof with a linear polyester.
