An electronic control unit is applied to an air conditioner, the air conditioner including a heating unit which heats a heat medium, a casing which allows an air flow to circulate toward a compartment, a blower which generates the air flow in the casing, and a heat exchanger disposed in the casing that heats the air flow by exchanging heat between the heat medium heated by the heating unit and the air flow. The blower air volume of the blower is controlled based on a first candidate value determined based on an estimated blowing temperature, and a second candidate value determined based on a required blowing air temperature and the estimated blowing temperature. The second candidate value is set as a predetermined value when a warm-up operation of the heating unit is completed.

Electronic control unit for air conditioner

A vehicular air conditioner includes an air conditioning, a heater core, a heat pump cycle unit, a temperature detector, and a controller. The heat pump cycle unit includes a first inside heat exchanger disposed downstream of the heater core in a flow direction of a conditioning air, a second inside heat exchanger disposed upstream of the heater core in the flow direction of the conditioning air, and an outside heat exchanger. The temperature detector is configured to detect a passage air temperature, the passage air temperature being a temperature of the conditioning air that has passed through the heater core. The controller is configured to selectively switch a circuit layout of the heat pump cycle unit between a cooling circuit, a heating circuit, and a dehumidifying-heating circuit based on the passage air temperature.

Vehicular air conditioner

In an air-conditioner control unit, when pollen mode control is set by a vehicle occupant to perform the pollen mode control that can provide a defogging effect while maintaining the pollen removal effect, the opening of an air inlet door is forcibly set to an inside-air introduction mode (S) when the following two conditions hold: ambient temperature Tam is higher than a threshold (5 to 6&#xb0; C.) set in a low-temperature region (S), and a compressor system is able to operate normally without causing an abnormal pressure (S). If even one of these conditions does not hold, the opening of the air inlet door is not forcibly set to the inside-air introduction mode, and the air inlet door is operated as in normal control. In this way, in the pollen mode control, since the pollen removal effect in the inside-air introduction mode is enabled only when the ambient air is relatively high, the occurrence of windshield fogging can be suppressed.

Automotive air-conditioning system

In an automotive air-conditioning system, when pollen mode control is effected by a vehicle occupant, air outlet mode is forcibly set to a face mode. Further, the air flow amount determined from the air flow amount Vm used in the usual auto mode and the air flow amount f(Tw) used during warm-up control or the air flow amount determined by the air flow amount correction value f(Tam) having a relatively small upper limit value when ambient temperature is higher than a predetermined temperature (15&#xb0; C.), whichever is larger, is taken as the set value for the air flow amount in the pollen mode control. With this arrangement, when coolant temperature and ambient temperature are low, a relatively small amount of air can be blown to the upper part of the occupant's body, and thus, while maintaining the pollen removal effect, occupant discomfort can be reduced by preventing a fast flow of air from being blown toward the occupant's face, etc.

An actuator control device includes an electrical control unit for detecting the present positions of output shafts of servo motors, and communicating with control circuits for driving the output shafts of the servo motors to target stop positions on the basis of the present positions thus detected. When it is judged that a present position of one of the output shafts thus receives is abnormal, the electrical control unit corrects the present position and transmits the corrected present position to the appropriate control circuit.

Actuator control unit

An air conditioning system for a vehicle exhibits a room air conditioner unit for air conditioning a passenger compartment, a seat air conditioner unit for adjusting a temperature of a seat, a temperature sensor for detecting a temperature at a front location of a passenger seated on the seat and the temperature of the seat, and a control unit for controlling operation of the room air conditioner unit and the seat air conditioner unit so that a difference between the temperature at the front of the passenger and the temperature of the seat falls within a certain value range. As a result, a difference in heat sensation between the front and the back of the passenger is reduced, and hence the comfortableness of the passenger compartment can be improved.

There are provided an air mixing door, a plurality of outlets for blowing air into respective portions in a vehicle compartment, outlet mode doors for switching a outlet mode by closing and opening the plurality of outlets, and one motor actuator for driving the air mixing door and the outlet mode doors. The outlet mode doors and the air-mixing door are alternately driven through a change of an operation angle of the motor actuator.

Air conditioner for vehicle and air conditioning unit driving apparatus

A vehicle air conditioner has a non-contact temperature sensor for detecting a surface temperature of a detection range of a passenger compartment. The detection range includes a first detection portion in which a surface temperature is changed to approximately correspond to an inside air temperature, a second detection portion in which a surface temperature is changed in accordance with an outside air temperature, and a third detection portion in which a surface temperature is changed in accordance with a sunlight amount entering the passenger compartment. In the vehicle air conditioner, a target temperature of air blown into the passenger compartment is calculated based on a set temperature and a surface temperature from the non-contact temperature sensor, while air-conditioning performance is improved.

In a vehicle air-conditioning system, plural electrical members such as a blower controller, servomotors and a post-evaporator temperature sensor are collectively disposed on an electrical circuit board integrally formed with an evaporator case cover for closing a side surface of an evaporator case. Therefore, a wire structure of an electrical connection or a wire harness can be made simple. Further, because an elastically deformable sensor-pressing portion for pressing the post-evaporator sensor toward an evaporator side surface is integrally formed with the evaporator case cover integrated with the electrical circuit board, a contact pressure of a temperature sensitive portion of the post-evaporator sensor onto the evaporator side surface can be maintained.
