A bonding apparatus includes: a backup unit including a light-transmissive transmission member having a support surface which supports at least a bonding region of a light-transmissive board from below; a pressure-bonding unit which presses an electronic component placed on the bonding region via a photo-curable adhesive agent; and a light irradiation unit which irradiates the supporting surface with light which promotes hardening of the adhesive agent. The electronic component is bonded to the board by pressing the electronic component mounted on a top surface of the adhesive agent in a state in which light from the light irradiation unit is incident upon the adhesive agent through the supporting surface. The bonding apparatus further includes a light distribution measuring unit which measures a distribution of light from the light irradiation portion in the supporting surface.

Bonding apparatus

A component crimping apparatus includes: a substrate holding part that holds a substrate of a transparent material, a component previously attached to each electrode of electrodes juxtaposed in an edge of the substrate through a photo-curable adhesive member; a supporting part that supports, by a transparent member, a region under the electrodes in the substrate; crimping tools that are juxtaposed over the transparent member and press the components to the substrate; and a light irradiating part that irradiates the adhesive member with light through the transparent member when the crimping tools press the components to the substrate. The crimping tools are configured movably in an arrangement direction of the crimping tools, the transparent member has a dimension capable of covering a whole region of a movable range of the crimping tools, and the light irradiating part irradiates a whole region of the transparent member with the light.

Component crimping apparatus

A component mounting apparatus crimps a component to a transparent substrate. The component is mounted on the transparent substrate through a photo-modifiable resin portion. The component mounting apparatus includes a receiving portion that receives a surface of the substrate by an upper surface of a transparent member, a pressing portion that presses the component against the substrate, an emission portion that emits light to the photo-modifiable resin portion through the transparent member, and a control portion that controls a timing when the pressing portion starts pressing of the component and a timing when the emission portion starts emission of the light so that the emission of the light is started a predetermined differential time earlier or later than the start of the pressing of the component.

A component mounting apparatus that compresses a component to a transparent substrate on which the component is placed with a photocurable resin interposed therebetween. An image capture device includes a viewfinder for viewing a subject. The viewfinder either forms an integral part of the device or is an external member that is attachable to, and removable from, the device. The device includes: an optical system; a generating section for capturing an image of the subject through the optical system and generating image data; a detecting section for detecting the degree of focusing of the subject's image represented by the image data; a display section on which the subject's image is presentable based on the image data; and a controller for accepting a decision to use either the display section or the viewfinder for viewing the subject to shoot. If the controller accepts the decision to use the viewfinder, the display section displays no subject's image, and displays information about the degree of focusing of the subject's image for at least a certain period of time. The information has been obtained based on a result of detection done by the detecting section.

An image processor that can get a number of image files resized collectively is provided in order to realize a more user-friendly resizing function. The image processor includes: a control section configured to select a particular set of resizing conditions from a plurality of sets of resizing conditions in accordance with a user's instruction; and an image processing section configured to perform resizing processing on each of a plurality of images in accordance with the selected particular set of resizing conditions. Each set of resizing conditions specifies a plurality of estimated resized image sizes. Each estimated resized image size is associated with a respective image aspect ratio. For said each of the plurality of images to be resized, the image processing section selects an estimated resized image size from the selected particular set of resizing conditions according to the aspect ratio of said each of the plurality of images and performs the resizing processing on said each of the plurality of images in accordance with the selected estimated resized image size.

An image capture device includes: an imager for imaging an object and generating image data; an image file generator for generating an image file by adding, to the image data generated by the imager, a header portion which stores at least one type of information concerning shooting circumstances; a timer for outputting information indicating a current time; and a manipulation section which is used to set period information specifying a period. The image file generator changes the type of information to be stored in the header portion depending on whether a time of imaging as indicated by the information which is output from the timer at the time of the imaging falls within the period specified by the period information.

The image displaying apparatus of the present invention provides a first display mode in which a first display region for one screen image is formed in a display screen, with the short side direction of the display screen aligned with the vertical direction; and a second display mode in which a first display region and a second display region for two screen images are formed in the display screen, with the long side direction of the display screen aligned with the vertical direction, and the first display region and the second display region formed such that they are arranged up and down. An adhesive tape applying apparatus includes a stage on which a terminal end portion of a first tape member and a leading end portion of a second tape member are placed so as to be superimposed on each other, an ultrasonic tool in which a plurality of protruding portions are provided on its contact surface that is to be put into contact with the leading end portion or terminal end portion of the superposed tape members, an ultrasonic vibration generator for applying ultrasonic vibrations in a tape's thicknesswise direction to the ultrasonic tool, and a pressing device for making a stage-directed pressing force act on the ultrasonic tool. As a result, the terminal end portion of the in-use first tape member and the leading end portion of the second tape member rolled out from a new reel can be spliced together with a simple, low-cost construction while the possibility of occurrence of trouble in tape feed is eliminated.

A component mounting apparatus includes a component feeder that feeds a component with its bump electrodes facing down, a mounting head that mounts the component onto a substrate, a supporting base that secures the substrate, and a positioning device that aligns the component with the substrate. The mounting head includes an ultrasonic vibration generator, an ultrasonic vibration propagation member that conveys the ultrasonic vibration provided by the ultrasonic vibration generator to a working face holding the component as vibration parallel thereto, a pressure loader that applies a pressure load to the working face from a position immediately thereabove in the direction perpendicular thereto, and a heater that heats the vicinity of the working face. Thereby, ultrasonic bonding is carried out with high reliability even if the component has a number of bump electrodes on its face.
