An advertisement search agent detects a service that is provided by a node or a service that can be used by a node immediately after the node is newly connected to a domain. A message acquisition unit acquires an advertisement search message broadcast or multicast by a node connected to either one of a plurality of domains. A message database stores advertisement search messages acquired by the message acquisition unit. A node connection monitoring unit detects the connection of a node to either one of a plurality of domains. When the connection of a node is detected by the node connection monitoring unit, a delivery message extractor extracts an advertisement search message stored in the message database. A message delivery unit delivers the advertisement search message extracted by the delivery message extractor.

A method for obtaining an X-ray image for an X-ray diagnosis apparatus including plurality of imaging systems, including: collecting first scatter data using a first X-ray detector after an X-ray is irradiated from a first X-ray tube in a first imaging system; collecting second scatter data using a second X-ray detector after an X-ray is irradiated from a second X-ray tube in a second imaging system; collecting first image data including a scatter component using X-ray detectors after an X-ray is irradiated from a third X-ray tube in the first imaging system; collecting second image data including a scatter component using X-ray detectors after an X-ray is irradiated from a fourth X-ray tube in the second imaging system; and obtaining X-ray images for the first and second imaging systems by subtracting the first and second scatter data from the first and second image data including a scatter component, respectively.

X-ray diagnosis apparatus and method for obtaining an X-ray image

A TFT array structure formed on a glass substrate employs an aluminum alloy for the wiring patterns of signal lines and scanning lines. Besides, on the glass substrate, a terminal structure is formed near the terminating end of each of the wiring patterns. The terminal structure includes a terminal pattern which is formed of the same MoW layer as that of capacitor lines of the TFT array structure. Thus, the TFT array structure holds a repair facility equal to that of the prior art while realizing the enhancement of an operating speed and the reduction of image noise owing to the lowered resistances of the scanning lines and signal lines.

Flat panel detection type solid-state imaging device

The invention relates to a receiver-drier for use in an air conditioning system. This receiver-drier has (a) a lower portion defining a lower chamber in the receiver-drier; (b) an upper portion defining an upper chamber in the receiver-drier; and (c) a strainer for removing foreign particles from the refrigerant. The lower portion has an inlet for allowing the refrigerant to flow into the lower chamber and an outlet for allowing the refrigerant to flow out of the lower chamber. Each of the inlet and the outlet is formed at a bottom of the lower portion. The upper chamber is on top of the lower chamber and is charged with a desiccant for removing moisture from the refrigerant. The strainer is disposed at a position in a flow of the refrigerant from the inlet to the outlet.

Receiver-drier for use in an air conditioning system

An X-ray flat panel detector includes sensor elements constituted by a plurality of effective pixels that detect X-rays and a plurality of dummy pixels that are arranged adjacent to the effective pixel area and generate electrical signals irrelevant to X-rays, signal lines which read out electrical signals from the respective pixels, scanning lines which scan the respective pixels, a first electrostatic wiring line which distributes static electricity accumulated in the signal lines, and a second electrostatic wiring line which distributes static electricity accumulated in the scanning lines. A plurality of dummy pixels are classified into a DA area where noise superposed on the signal lines are removed and a DB area where noise superposed on the scanning lines are removed. The first and second electrostatic wiring lines are laid out around the sensor elements, and physically disconnected between the DA area and the DB area.

Pixel data in a region of a flat panel detector is obtained and displayed. For example, pixel data in a region irradiated with X-ray is obtained and displayed. The region to be irradiated with-the X-ray is estimated according to a degree of opening of an X-ray beam limiting device and a distance between the X-ray beam limiting device and the flat panel detector. Further, it can be determined from pixel data value of the flat panel detector also. A region of a patient can be also determined from the pixel data. Thus, an image corresponding to the entire flat panel detector, an image corresponding to an X-ray irradiation region and an image corresponding to a patient region can be displayed. A resolution for obtaining the pixel data is changed corresponding to the size of a region in the flat panel detector whose pixel data should be obtained and a processing resolution of an image processing means at post step. Particularly in an X-ray diagnostic apparatus of bi-plane structure, an observation region can be traced flexibly.

X-ray diagnostic apparatus using an X-ray flat panel detector and method for controlling the X-ray diagnostic apparatus

A plurality of photoelectric conversion sections correspond respectively to a plurality of pixels arranged on a detection surface for converting incident X rays into charge. A plurality of charge storage sections store the charge converted by the plurality of photoelectric conversion sections, respectively. A plurality of transfer TFTs read out the charge stored in the plurality of charge storage sections, respectively. A plurality of protective TFTs have an end thereof connected to the each input terminal of the plurality of transfer TFTs and sweep out from the other end thereof the charge stored in the charge storage sections when the voltage applied thereto exceeds a predetermined voltage level lower than the breakdown voltage of the transfer TFTs.

X-ray imaging apparatus

An X-ray imaging apparatus comprises an X-ray emission unit for emitting X-rays onto a human body under examination, an X-ray emission control unit for outputting an X-ray emission signal to direct the X-ray emission unit to emit X-rays, a flat panel X-ray detector having a two-dimensional array of detector elements in rows (lines) and columns, each of the detector elements converting incident X-rays passed through the human body under examination into an electric charge signal and storing it, a resetting unit for placing each line of the detector elements in the readout state in sequence, thereby discharging electric charge stored on each of the detector elements, a storage unit for placing all the lines of the detector elements in the readout state to thereby allow each of the detector elements to store an electric charge signal, and a readout unit for placing each line of the detector elements in the readout state in sequence to thereby read an electric charge signal from each of the detector elements.

X-ray imaging apparatus using X-ray planar detector

It is an object of the invention to provide an X-ray diagnosis apparatus having an X-ray plane detector capable of removing the influence of a scattered X-ray by using a grid and also preventing a Moire image. An X-ray image transmitted through a target object is sensed by a plane detector in units of pixels which are two-dimensionally arranged at a predetermined pitch. A scattered X-ray incident on the plane detector is removed by a scattered ray removing grid having plate-like X-ray shielding members and arranged on an X-ray incident side of the plane detector. The X-ray shielding members are arranged such that an X-ray shielding pattern on the X-ray incident surface of the plane detector has a pitch corresponding to an integer fraction of the arrangement pitch of the pixels. When a steady positional relationship is kept between the pitch of the X-ray detection elements and the period of the fringe pattern of the X-ray which is shielded by the grid, a Moire image can be prevented.

X-ray diagnostic apparatus

A diagnostic X-ray apparatus includes an X-ray tube, an image intensifier for converting an X-ray image of an object under examination to an optical image, a solid state image sensor device for detecting the optical images produced by the image intensifier and converting the optical means into a series of video signals, a CCD driver generating field shift pulses for driving the solid state image sensor device at a predetermined rate, pulse width determining means for determining a pulse width of the X-ray pulses, and X-ray control means for controlling an emission period and timing of the X-ray pulse emitted from the X-ray tube. In the case that the solid state image sensor device performs interlaced scanning in a field storage mode, commencing with the second frame when the field shift pulse is generated by the CCD driver, the X-ray pulse continues to be emitted from the X-ray tube for a half of the pulse width determined by the pulse width determining means in the first frame. In case that the solid state image sensor device performs interlaced scanning in a frame storage mode, X-ray pulses having a pulse width determined by the pulse width determining means are emitted in the same field of each frame.

Diagnostic X-ray apparatus

This invention relates to a novel ornithine carbamoyl transferase (OCTase) gene, a recombinant DNA containing the OCTase DNA, a transformation system for a basidiomycete, and production of useful proteins using the system. More particularly, this invention relates to the OCTase gene of Coriolus hirsutus to afford an efficient host-vector system in basidiomycetes (particularly a white rot fungus such as Coriolus hirsutus IFO 4917) for the preparation of useful proteins. OCTase is the enzyme to transform ornithine to citrulline in arginine biosynthesis in organisms. The present invention provides the OCTase genes of C. hirsutus, the useful Arg.sup.- auxotrophic mutant of C. hirsutus deficient in the OCTase gene, the efficient condition for the preparation of protoplasts and the transformation of the mutant with the cloned OCTase gene and the recombinant DNA's including a promoter, a signal peptide-coding DNA and a protein-coding DNA, the construction of the novel host-vector system of C. hirsutus, and the new method of a large scale preparation of useful proteins using this novel host-vector system with a new recombinant DNA technique. Furthermore, this invention provides a highly efficient method to produce a useful protein such as lignin peroxidase which is difficult to produce by the conventional method.

Ornithine carbamoyl transferase gene and utilization of the DNA

A diagnostic apparatus for diagnosing the circulatory system of a patient, including an X-ray diagnostic system and an ultrasonic diagnostic system. The ultrasonic diagnostic system has an ultrasonic catheter for insertion into the circulatory systems of the patient and for scanning a circulatory organ with an ultrasonic wave to thereby an ultrasonic tomogram. A roadmap image is obtained prior to the ultrasonic diagnosis. When the ultrasonic catheter is inserted into the circulatory system of the patient, the X-ray diagnosis is performed to obtain a live image of the circulatory system which includes a picture of the catheter and is displayed overlapped on the roadmap image. The ultrasonic catheter is inserted into the circulatory system of the patient while the location of the catheter is monitored from the overlapped display of the live image and the roadmap image.

A coupler is disclosed which is constructed of metal. The coupler comprises a cylindrical major part having a first cylindrical bore formed therethrough, the cylindrical major part being formed about its cylindrical outer surface with an externally threaded portion and a polygonal enlarged head; and a collar part having a second cylindrical bore formed therethrough, the second cylindrical bore being greater in diameter than the first cylindrical bore. The cylindrical major part and the collar part are coaxially arranged and integrated with each other to constitute a monobloc cylindrical structure.
