A direct resistance heating simulation method is provided. In this method, a welding region and its peripheral region of steel sheets to be welded by a pair of electrodes are divided into a plurality of elements. A coupled analysis is performed such that a temperature, a metal structure, stress and strain at each element are determine in a mutually associated manner based on Joule loss obtained through a current analysis and a magnetic field analysis for each element. The coupled analysis is repeated to predict an effect of one or more parameters, including at least one of a frequency, a magnitude and an application time of electric current to be applied to the electrodes, a cooling time, a pressure applied from the electrodes to the steel sheets and a shape of the electrodes, on welding quality after a post-heating by direct resistance heating and to improve weld strength.

Direct resistance heating simulation method

Object of the present invention is to provide a welding method prevented the fracture at the spot welding zone by recovering the strength of a spot welding zone, namely, the ductility and the toughness in the spot welding zone, and a weld structure manufactured by the method. In the welding method, a spot welding zone provided with a weld nuggetis formed by conducting spot welding on the heat treated steel sheets in a stack; the spot welding zone is tempering treated by the high-frequency electrical current application to make the weld nugget have a hardness of 150% or less of the hardness of the heat treated steel sheets, and the heat affected zone surrounding the weld nugget is made to have a hardness of 30% to 90% of the hardness at the weld nugget before the tempering treatment by the high-frequency electrical current application.

Welding method and weld structure

Ultradispersed ones of primary particles of nanometer-sized carbon are obtained by applying a wet-type milling method and/or a wet dispersion method to an aggregate structure of the primary particles to overcome van der Waals forces, by which forces the primary particles are held together to form the aggregate structure, whereby the ultradispersed primary particles are obtained in a colloidal dispersion on a large-scale basis at low cost without using any additive. In a method of manufacturing the ultradispersed primary particles, the wet-type milling method is carried out in a ball mill, preferably in combination with a high-energy ultrasonic-wave process carried out in a dispersing medium such as pure water, whereby a colloidal solution or slurry with a low-concentration of the primary particles ultradispersed in the dispersing medium is obtained.

Ultra-dispersed nanocarbon and method for preparing the same

In the method, apparatus and the substance produced thereby: a plasma flame 1 is produced by a plasma torch 11; the plasma flame 1 is passed through a plasma flame furnace 21 which controls the heat of the plasma flame 1; then, the plasma flame 1 is injected into a reactor column 31 to heat the substance. The substance may be a particle. The plasma flame 1 has a wide flame area in which a temperature of flame is uniform.
